Conte may as well be a tactical pylon.
He has one playing style and a very expensive team. If we play against a team we're better than, we'll win. When we play against a team we're not better than, we most likely won't.
Go look up how many big games we've won with Conte. In the 18 months here, he hasn't beaten any team he wasn't favored to win. His subs are awful, but his refusal to adjust how we start and play teams hurts us even more. He's shown us on multiple occasions that his system takes precedence over winning a Europa League final and advancing in the Champions League and if it comes down to it, his system will take precedence over winning the Scudetto, too.
Last night reminded me a lot of us under Mourinho 11 years ago. When we needed a win against Rubin Kazan on Matchday 6 to advance, and from out of nowhere Mourinho went with a very attacking formation and line up that we didn't even play once that season, but was what he thought would get us 3 points.
Kazan didn't see it coming and definitely wasn't prepared for it. Yesterday, Conte showed them the same team and tactics for the third time in 4 months and their coach knew how to handle Inter perfectly. They clearly learned what they did wrong when they lost earlier in the year and countered it - as any competent coach should. Its too bad we don't have one here at Inter.
