So 3 days after the meeting it's safe to assume the strategy has clearly changed. We went from rumors about Tonali, Emerson and Kumbullla to rumours about Darmian and Vidal, closing the deal for Kolarov and Tonali isn't a priority. Conte saying his reaction wasn't about the transfer market was nothing more than utter bs. It always was about the transfer market.

Stevo gave Conte guarantees that he's under no pressure to achieve. So Conte signs players HE wants for what exactly ?

Conte didn't lie at the beginning of his time with Inter when he said "I'm having fun coaching Inter".

Fuck this dickhead.

We need experience though.Kolarov,Vidal and a geriatric forward - Giroud/Dzeko/Mandzukic/Pellesier etc wont be bad to have with the inexperienced young ones we have here like Lautaro,Barella,Sensi,Bastoni,Hakimi and Skriniar.

We need a balance in our team.If you guys think Kumbaya and Tonali should be bought instead of these geriatrics and we should also win the Scudetto then you are totally living in La La Land.

But if you think our market should be Vidal Kolarov Pellesier or any geriatric forward + Kumbaya and Tonali i agree i would rather we get all these. For this Zhang should commit the money.Give Conte his experience but also invest for the future of this club. But then i hear we dont have the money and FFP and sell before buying and that to me is disappointing.I really do want to keep Skriniar Lautaro and Brozo and dont want to sell in this CoVid market all.

I am still hoping our mgmt wants to give Conte the experience in the shape of free players like Kolarov Vidal and Tiribocchi whilst also making creative deals for Kumbaya and Tonali.Surely we can loan Kumbaya back to Hellas and give them Salcedo and Di Marco and some money whilst doing something like that for Tonali as well.I do trust Marotta and Ausillio to work this out and the free transfers of Kolarov and Vidal give me hope atleast some youngsters will also be arriving.Patience guys.

I was supporting Conte to stay a few weeks ago because I saw the result from last season and expect him to continue the project.

But in the past few days, to be honest I started to questioning his choice of the incoming players. I agree we need more experience players, but tbf we need young players as well, especially who has known about their qualities.
I will be so pissed if we lose on Tonali. I have seen him play couple of times and I believe he has the quality and has a very high ceiling for his career.

But well, unfortunately I'm just an Inter fan, who cannot do anything beside support my team no matter what.
Let's see if this Conte's project actually works, and we can be scudetto this season.

Bad mistake from Suning not to fire Conte after his ultimatum. Last year Inter took one step forward and this season it is a step back.

Pre Stevo meeting, I wasn't too fussed with him staying. Now however, with the current mercato dealings, I'm increasingly annoyed with him.

I seriously hate it that he is in charge. For once I was comfortable knowing Marotta is in charge and now this happens.

Marotta is still in charge. Nothing happens without his approval.

The management better give protection from all these bullshit transfer rumors the media created.

It doesnt make sense that Conte is abandoning pursuit of younger players for older players while making an agreement with Zhang that the scudetto was not an immediate priority. In 100% of sports, moving for veteran's signals a win-now approach. This narrative makes no sense and is unlikely to be true.

well he did say he was unsure if he was gonna be coaching inter next year but here we are. The only explanation is the management had no card on their sleeves and chose to bend over or should I say comply for some sensitive people out here.

It's possible that Zhang got tied up with the short market and the difficulties of replacing conte and squad members. They seem to both want to win at all costs but have different ideas going about it.

Let's not overreact until we actually sign one of these old, desolate players.

This couldn't be related only to Conte though. Tonali, Kumbulla and Emerson will cost around 100mln in transfer fees. Vidal, Darmian and Kolarov less than 25mln most probably.
