one should understand that you spend less when your objective is 4th place and you spend more if you are shouldering the project of winning the scudetto in some agreed time frame. Plus, understand Conte is a coach 1 level above than Spalletti - you may argue that, but the market dictates its own conditions. if Arsenal or let's say Tottenham happens to seek for a new coach and if there are Conte, Spalletti among other available candidates, rest assured they wouldn't even consider Spalletti with Conte being one of the favorites, agree? Therefore Conte being a coach of the top cohort he rightfully demands higher salary and if we want to raise our bar and hire more "premium" coach, then we have to pay that salary. You can not ask Conte to provide a demo version of himself so that we can pay Spalletti's salary to him.

And when you hire such coach, and set the objective for him to close the gap between rubentus and us, and then improve season by season eventually winning the scudetto, that coach rightfully demands new players. You can not expect him to get the job done by giving him the players who were only good enough to battle for the 4th spot.

Oh I definitely agree that Conte is a much bigger name than Spalletti because hes won more than Spalletti. I'm not advocating that spalo is better, far from that. All I'm saying is if we finish 4th then Conte has not achieved more objectively than Spalletti. I think we can agree with that :)

If anything, Conte has a worse team the Spalletti did, right?
I mean, Icardi >>>>> Lukaku.

icardi>>>>>Lukaku but we have much better midfielder in barella and eriksen now. ;)

He is going full conspiracy theory about our calendar in post match interview. :D

Has somewhat of a point though.

It's always someone else's fault, never his shitty playing style.

He has no point. I just don't know why this dude loses his shit after every non-positive result.

Not much difference between him and Spalletti... in fact in a lot of ways he’s much much worse.

I know it’s never gonna happen but I’d definitely support his sacking were it to come up. I could never support a coach that insists on playing Gagliardini in games we need points in.

He’s not used to losing and isn’t satisfied with drawing. Mourinho was really no different in this aspect

You could’ve bet this was always going to be his talking point respective of the result, he had already hinted beforehand that they were having a day short of rest plus having to travel for the match

Yeah, basically saying how these 21 45 kick-offs fucked us up cus we have to travel back home till 4am, and there is little time to recuperate. And for some reason we did have early kick offs more often at home and these late ones were away.

Whatever. Had an opportunity to snatch 3 points but instead leaves the most creative player he has on the bench for Gagliardini. Only then to introduce him into the game when the team is a goal down.

Not sure what not loser means for you but being a coward is a close to being a loser.
