I remember the first game of the season when we played Coutinho-Sneijder-Cassano trio and we smashed whoever we were playing. At the time I thought "here we go" but never saw the trio play together again.

The Palacio - Milito - Cassano attack was sick. Especially when we gave juve their first loss in their new stadium :datass:

Honorable mention to the sick defense for that match: Juan - Samuel - Rano.

Man I was so hyped back then, even before that game. Then the slow realisation that we have no money mid season for the wages and.. we sold Sneijder and Coutinho, but brought (the legend) Rocchi

Cassano: Inter for Scudetto, Schick…
By Football Italia staff

Antonio Cassano claims Inter will win the Serie A title this season and that Patrik Schick is “better” than Paulo Dybala.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport for its Friday edition, Cassano also felt Dani Alves was a bigger loss for Juventus than Leonardo Bonucci, Gonzalo Higuain was the best player in Italy and that Napoli and Milan could both struggle to compete for the Scudetto.

“Roma-Inter? I’ll be supporting Inter and I think they’ll win. Inter have a genius in their dugout this season: Spalletti,” began the former Azzurri attacker.

“They can beat Juventus, who have always been the best [Serie A team]. I only played with Inter for a season, but I remain an ‘interista’ inside.

“Icardi or Dzeko? Dzeko plays football and scores, while Icardi works little for the team.

“Schick? He’s better than Dybala and, due to his characteristics, I advise him to join Inter.

“Who will win Serie A? I’d say Inter ahead of Juventus and Napoli. Inter have had a smart transfer campaign and didn’t need Sabatini.

“Skriniar’s a phenomenon, I only needed a few training sessions with him to Samp to reach that conclusion. He, Borja Valero and Vecino are statements by Ausilio.

“Juve weaker without Bonucci? He became a top player thanks to Barzagli and Chiellini. Dani Alves’ departure is more significant.

“He said the Juve dressing room was sad, obviously I wasn’t mistaken when I said that Juve were a team of soldiers.

“Milan and Napoli? Montella’s good and Milan have spent so much, but San Siro’s not for everyone.

“Napoli always play with the same 11 and only have one tactic: they’re too repetitive and it’s also a limitation of theirs.

“Top three players in Serie A? There’s one absolute champion, Higuain. Then come the others. I’d put Insigne and Dzeko on the podium.

“Insigne better than me? Lorenzo and I are very good friends, but I was better than him and we’re different…

“I was pure inspiration and fantasy on the pitch, plus I could play in different positions. He needs to play on the left of a 4-3-3.

“Numbers also say nothing: [Insigne] taking Maradona’s No 10 would only create problems.”

Cassano speaks his mind. He may be wrong, but at least he has the guts to call it as he sees it.

For a moment there i thought el duccio and cassano were the same person! Then he went on to call Higuain an absolute champion....

cassano still on drugs it seems. I have no problem with anyone saying icardi should do more for a team and be more dynamic but then to imply that dzeko somehow does do that? please - and higuain is a monster choke artist.

About Icardi he is right.

About Higuain, not really. Higuain is shit and he only is hyped because of the great season with Napoli where the team played for him. Still cant believe Juve paid 90M. With 90 M you can get 4-5 Matuidis, basicly a team. And Higuain is not the kind of world class player that every team needs, specialy considering the age.

I somehow thought I was in the Candreva thread and that you actually wrote "Candreva is one of us" I was fuming but decided to read it again. Lucky me

"My most beautiful goal? The first was against Inter, and I did it on purpose - they're the team of my heart, and the goal made me rich and famous.

I haven't retired, I want to find a team that makes me happy. Once I was fine with going to a team that offered me a blank contract, and that was the most beautiful team in the world - Inter.

Most dislikable team? Juventus. They always win.
I've rejected them three times, because they're all by the book and I'm not like that. It's all fine though, I'm happy to be an Interista.

Team I like scoring scoring against the most? Juventus.
"

Love me some Fantantonio.

Former Italy ace Antonio Cassano insists he has not retired from football but reveals “I rejected Juventus three times.”

In a candid interview with Inter fan Paolo Bonolis on Canale 5, Cassano also explained why his first-ever goal against the Nerazzurri was his favourite, how his reputation helped him off the field and who were his favourite teammates.

“My most beautiful goal? I scored my first goal against Inter and I did it on purpose,” began the ex-Roma and Real Madrid forward.

“They’re the team of my heart and it made me handsome, rich and famous.

“Beautiful women attracted to footballers? Even if you’re ugly, you become handsome because you get rich.

“Is my wife happy that I no longer play? My wife’s a bit bothered about me being at home all day. I’m not easy to live with and I watch football all day long.

“Why didn’t I stay at Roma? Because the best team in the world called me, Real Madrid.

“Messi? I have immense love for him. He’s stratospheric and the best, more so than Maradona. For me, Lionel’s better.

“Why did I stop playing? I haven’t stopped playing football. I want to go to a team that make me happy.

“Once upon a time, I was happy to go to a team that offered me a blank contract, and that was the most beautiful team in the world, Inter.

“Milan? I was crucial to their last Scudetto? A team that you don’t like? Juventus because they win so much.

“I rejected Juventus three times because they’re all put in place and I’m not like that, but that’s fine, I'm glad to be an interista.

“Which Coaches did I fall out with? All of them except with my first Coach at Bari, Fascetti.

“We’d fall out because they rightly have to make decisions and so do I. Although here you see me quiet and behaving well, I was hard work on the pitch.

“The player that improved me? I was lucky to play with Zidane and Ronaldo, but the one I enjoyed playing alongside the most was Totti, absolutely.

“Have I ever dived? Several times. Maybe I did when I couldn’t hack playing in midfield anymore, and I’d thank the referee for helping me in those situations, but I’ve never dived for a penalty.

“Team I liked scoring against the most? Juventus.”

You have my vote for moving Antonio 2 LGI :proud:
