Candreva's difficulties last season were not down to him being shit. They down to an unimaginative and cowardly coach whose only game plan was to have his wide players cross to Icardi (when Icardi actually decided to play).

I think it is great that he is playing with the desire and determination to prove his doubters (myself included) wrong, to demonstrate that last season was an anomaly and that he is willing to fight for his position and be a part of Conte's plans.

I was about to post this - when Candreva came on, it did change our game. He didn't do anything notable, but his energy was awesome and most of our attacks were coming from his side. He is becoming a serious impact sub on either wing. I really like Candreva this season.

In here you're either great or awful. Candreva was always a useful player, last season he was acting like a petulant child though. Politano had the same approach when he came on against Parma but redeemed himself in Dortmund.

Pretty much this candreva has been the same player since he joined here, yes some coaches used him better than others and last season he was utterly shit. But i dont think his skill level fluctuated greatly while he was here.

Also while i dont hate candreva he just should not be a starter for us, he d be a good back up for a team with aspirations but he s simply not good enough to be a starter in a big team and he s shown it. I mean at Jube he would not even be 2nd choice!!!!
He was great in livorno, parma cesena and lazio did not cut it at jube and even in a very weak inter squad he s not really convincing. Even now in what i consider his best stint at inter he is kind of meh..
