Candreva for 25m is too high. But at the right price (~15m) it may be a good deal. He had a poor season by his standards, but he is quality.

Ditto Lamela. Spurs bought him for 30m, and now that he has finally come good for them, they are unlikely to sell for anything less. I fear that is too high... but for the right price (~20m), he is a good buy.

Candreva is also likely to be interested in joining Inter, whereas I am not sure Lamela would want to leave CL playing Spurs for Inter right now.

I also suspect Candreva is more suitable to our coach's style than Lamela. Candreva works his ass off, and does track back a lot to help the defense. If we are indeed going to play with 4 attacking players next season, one of whom will be the static Icardi, we need players who are key on and off the ball.

Lamela actually tracks back quite a lot and works hard throughout a match. But the other points you make are very good and you're right Candreva is much more likely to come here. The only chance is if Spurs buy a couple new wingers and Lamela becomes excess to need. Enjoy kept mentioning a rumor about someone like that, but given that Spurs have CL football, they'll probably buy one such player for depth. So if they buy two then we'll know there's a chance to pounce.

See my post above. Lamela averaged the 7th most kilometers run per game in the Premier League, with ~11.42km. Pochettino places a big emphasis on fitness and hard work. The reason not to buy Lamela is price. Candreva is cheaper.

Domenico Berardi can still be an Inter target. According to Sportmediaset, despite the 25 million agreement through Jiventus and Sassuolo, the forward isn't sure of the new destination. Yaya is on form better than Biglia in the attacking sense. Banega is better than Biglia in playmaking. Biglia can play as a DM. Neither Yaya nor Banega can play as a DM. Kondogbia & Brozovic are more like B2Bs. Mancini is very unlikely to play without a proper DM.

So if we get Yaya, the only DMs we will have are Melo and Medel. So our midfield will end up something like: Banega+Medel+Yaya.

I much rather see Banega+Biglia+Kondogbia as a midfield. Makes sense?

Looks like many of you do not want Candreva for the right wing role... some are suggesting Lamela instead, but he may not be available or may cost considerably more because Spurs don't need money.

Who else would you want for that role ideally? Please suggest players who are around that 15-25m price range...
