I think its a good move to bring Poli in on loan. I can't see him being a regular in our side, however the experience would be fantastic for him.

- If he adapts and shows character: then we buy him.

- If he struggles along: then thanks but no thanks Samp, you can have him back.

The promising part of this deal is he is only 21 ! This shows that Inter is serious about reconstructing a new side with youth (Except Forlan, which i firmly believe is a short term fix until we find or establish a long term prospect.)

at least it shows our management are capable of surprises this window. now we need to hope for more. ok if he's a lesser versian of kucka so what, i'd settle for that if we use the kucka money for another area. i think everyone here would

nothing wrong with this transfer at all. to be honest our midfield was ok compared to defence and attack, but improving it for a relatively small price isn't bad at all

According to reports from Italy, its practically a done deal. A medical will be conducted on Monday.

This Croc from Peter Pan is Boss. Off topic but Disney classics are some underrated stuff people...

So with Muntari forced out, and Mariga gone,

Poli, Alvarez, Motta, Obi, Cambiasso, Sneijder, Coutinho, and Stankovic look to be our midfield options... A good balance of youth and experiance in my opinion.

I know what u mean though he has all those characteristics of the glass man himself (positive ones anyway). I just hope he actually gets playing time to show what he can do. Hopefully he doesnt follow his predessesor mariga and spend most of his time on the bench. If he fucks up, then he goes back. People should recognise though, that he is no upgrade to kucka, but i guess the price was right, and again MM has settled for much less(what can we do, times are tough)

Now if only gasp will wake the fuck up and start going with the rombo and forget all this suckmydick-4-3 formation nonsense.

Not really surprised...Inter have been after him for quite a while...fits the idea of going young but doesn't really provide an immediate impact. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

He is kind of the stereotypical CM with good passing, movement, and defensive abilities. He obviously needs to work on everything and be in the right environment to succeed...Inter has a good group of veterans and winners to help improve his skills.

aquilani doesn't have potential, he's 27 so he's just shit, people think he's good because they still picture a 23 year old being hampered by injuries. his best performance last season was against us

sorry for going on a rant and not answering your question but it had to be said :D

poli > aquilani either way
