Sanchez is playing good not only last 5 games ,but these past 2 seasons. Many of you have heard about him for first time just from the rumors and Inter's interest about him.And most of you are judging the players quality just from their statistics and you don't know the players qualities at all. Now Sanchez scored couple of goals and you are changing your opinion about him :p.This is not Play Station or football menager, this is real football, and Sanchez is real(complete player) .It will be shame if he doesn't sign for my favorite club.Cheers :)

Ok bladrick, now you have lost it.. :p

I've been watching udine since i am fan of Isla, and i also like Inler. And last season, Sanchez has been average at best, with few games as exception. Just like he was in the first 2 months of this year. Its not just the statistic, last year he did NOTHING apart from his dribbling..

As for now, he is on fire.. He has been since october, november... Lets see if he can maintain that...

I understand your point about attackers > defenders when it comes to price, but that is not the point here in this discussion.

I'm saying that Sanchez costs too much for Inter given his ability and quality. And the reality also speaks for that since we didn't get Sanchez for 25m€. You can think whatever you want about Inter's ability and willingness to pay transfer fees. But so far it looks we are not willing to pay 25m€ for an promising attacker. And we didn't pay 18m€ for Ranocchia. Half of Destro is going to Genoa for ~5m€ (and that unspecified youngster) so in cash we paid around 6,5m€ + 6-6,5m€ which makes it under 15m€ in cash.

And about that valuation of different positions. 25m€ for winger is less than 18m€ for CB, okay, noted. But Why would someone pay 18m€ for CB? Because that CB has enormous potential. So, it would require that winger to have at least big potential (not enormous since 25m for wing was less than 18m for CB) so that the valuations would be equal. Clearly our managed didn't evaluate Sanchez to the same category in terms of potential as Ranocchia, since they didn't invest that 25m€ on him.

Maybe in the summer they will if Sanchez keeps racking up goals and assists and that way show some backup for his potential. But that is a totally different story then (I don't believe it will happen though).

I think that we would've paid that money (25 million) to be honest, but Udinese did not want to sell because A) After their horrible start in first 5, led by the change of Sanchez's position, they've racked up about as much points as Milan (atleast by now) so they might think that they can reach maybe even the Champions League, which at the moment looks very possible for them indeed & B) They thought he will gain value during the second half of the season, which he is doing.

And atm, I find it unlikely that we'll buy him in the summer. The price tag will rise and all the big clubs are probably checking him out at the moment (and if Man City gets involved then it's game over really, esp since he is interested in trying it out in England).

1. He hasn't played great for 2 seasons
2. Most of us have heard of him atleast two years ago
3. Who judges from only statistics?
3.1. if this was the case, would it be all that wrong? Goals and assists are important for player like Sanchez.
4. Opinions should change. What is this smug and arrogant atitude? "I knew he's good before you did, you are not allowed to change your opinion". He have not proved anything yet, but he have lately been better than before in certain important areas such as passing and decisionmaking. Is this not a good time to reassess ones judgement?
5. Playstation and Football Manager doesn't have anything to do with this. Nobody wants him or doesn't want him on this basis.
6. What is this analogy between being real and being a complete player? Makes no sense to me. We all know he is real, i.e. he exists in actual world.
7. Why do you use smiley after insulting people with no basis whatsoever?

That Baldrick fellow really has some bizarre understanding of punctuation.

Sometimes he does spaces before the comma/period, sometimes after and sometimes not at all

Azzkikr, I almost commented on that too, but it would have been kind of ad hominem in this case, since I never comment on such things but concetrate on the meaning of a particular post.

7. Why do you use smiley after insulting people with no basis whatsoever?

1.By my standards he has.
2.You are talking in the name of all FIF members?right?
3.50% of people here,maybe more.
4.Statistics are important,but not always.
5.I am sorry if you feel insulted by my atitude.I didn't mean to insult anyone. The point was that many Inter fans here that are against Sanchez signature don't know what kind of player he is and they are stil against him just because he plays on the winger position and because the prize is too high.
6.I am pretty sure that many of people here never played profesionall football.
7.You are right-my bad.
8.I use smiley because i want to-and once again sorry if you feel insulted i didn't mean to insult anyone.

Which part? The whole part obviously.

That post was a hurricane of wrong words that made no sense, misspelled words, bad grammar and improper use of the equality sign. If i didnt know better id say you wrote that post blindfolded.

How am i supposed to understand such a post

As for Baldrick i couldnt care less if he played professional football, that means absolutely nothing to me and i fail to see what that has to do with what i commented on anyways, which was his bizarre understanding of punctuation. Your reply was completely irrelevant to the post you quoted :palm:

I dont even know why you quoted that post, some Pandev fanboy frustrations maybe? Please dont quote my posts just to get attention, thats what the Pandev thread is for anyways.

Now, if you do decide to reply to this post, please reply in english. I dont have a 'perikan to english' dictionary.

Fair enough Baldrick. I often get too agitated when I feel someone has this I'm-holier-than-thou -attittude. Sometimes I might have this feeling for a good reason, sometimes not. Hard to tell what's the case here. I'm sorry for being so sensitive. I still believe you are overestimating his contribution of last two seasons, but I guess we can just agree to disagree about this.

Can't agree with you here... Isla was good, But Sanchez was definitely Chile's stand out and the most consistent. Ripped up Spain aswell...
