I think the scenario is likely only if we sell Correa to Saudis. We'll have no money for replacement and Scammacca now is closer to Roma (loan+obligation), so this option is off as well. Depends on the salary but Alexis for one season would be perfect solution.
....

Corsera and Tuttomerkatoweb also confirm that Inter contacted Sanchez for possible return and the player has agreed.
We'll see what is going to happen. I only hope we don't finish with Thuram, Lautaro, Sanchez and Diarrhea.

Yeah, and the question you'd have to ask is if Sanchez accepts 4th place? With Thuram, Lautaro, and for arguments sake Balogun, how much will 4th choice really get to play?

hopefully what it does mean, though, is that correa is on the way out

Just wonder, if he'd come back. His leaving was hardly a friendly affair, he may still have bad feelings. Doesn't matter until Correa is gone as mentioned by many above.

yeah, i wonder the same thing tbh. Plus, why would he go from being a first team starter to 4th choice at Inter. Doesnt really make sense to me, but eh

I'm tired of his bitching "I am a lion, I need to play"
Times change. Alexis failed to realise and acknowledge it. He can not expect to regularly play when the reality is that he has turned from a lion into a mouse.

I think mouse is a little harsh tbh. He definitely offers us something as a team, and I'm confident he'd still offer more to us than Correa does, but we'd also need to make sure the salary and contract terms and most importantly, expectation, is set correctly.

Comparing him to Correa is akin to comparing him to nothing at all. It does not mean anything. There is no way we would pay to get him off our books only to bring him back. Especially while Simone Inzaghi is still here.

Apparently Marotta took my joke about replacing Correa with a corpse literally.
