That might be Ian Sharpe to be precise and who say's Sharpe was a better player than Giggs? he couldn't even cross the ball.

Yes, it was Ian Sharpe, thank you, and Giggs himself said so, i believe in his book.

It's strange only to have 4 strikers.

I'd have included Balotelli or Ribas for safety reasons. Anyway, I think it would be a perfect decision if we are to get rid of Adriano.

I saw Ian Sharpe's interview this year, yes he went partying but he stopped it as he was commanded by ferguson to do so but his problem was Injuries, he was very much injury prone but never talented as Giggs is. Ferguson always complained about Sharpe's crossing ability, work ethic and his fitness which later caused him to be sold to Bradford if I can remember.

lets just see how this season goes----
AC knew they could not contend for the tittle so they focused on the CL
yes only one defeat last season was great and we were the best perfoming side in euro.
just think its time for a new manager maybe some of you will agree towards the end of season, we shall then digg up this thread and reflect on the views expressed.
putting that a side this is only my opinon and i dont expect everyone to share the same thoughts as me. :)
not here to cause any bad feelings amonst my fellow inter fans- as we should all stick together.

Milan talked about how they would overcome Inter no matter what. I remember that at some point Milan had the oppurtunity to close the gap to two points, and all Milanisti were laughing at Inter. Milan didn't "give up" Serie A straight away and their CL success obviously came as a result of them not competing with all engines in the league, but they used the CL as a cover-up.

All it took for people to want Mancini sacked was a left-out lazy Brazilian, a loss at Roma with an in-complete, not at physical peak squad and an unlucky draw vs Udinese. These thing cancel out the undeniable progress Mancini's Inter has made over the course of the three years he's been chief. It's the old Moratti way of thinking and thanks to God our President has changed his ways.

I think Balotelli is young enough to be given the ok without being registered. Not sure though. Ribas is loaned out, so he wouldn't have been of any use anywa.

Dont count on it.

Mancini has clearly frozen him out. He is not going to get any chances regardless of how he performs in training.

He wasnt included solely because mancini wants to get rid of him in the winter market.

Thats the kinda person mancini is, he would rather satisfy his own feelings than do what could potentialy be best for the team. Thats the way he always coached, making decisions based his own feelings even if its for the good or for the worse. We have seen it several times while he has been here, the slighest problems with players and they get frozen out for a period and this time its obviously the end for adriano.

Do you know Mancini personally or something? Mancini has given Adriano loads of chances while Adriano has been hitting dry waters. I really can't figure out how some Adriano fans here always blame Mancini and frees Adriano of everything.

At some point, Sharpe played his football either on the Faroe Islands or Iceland (can't remember exactly). I think it was Iceland though. Talk about down hill.

Yes he has gotten chances and ****ed up again, and been frozen out several times and then allowed back. Its clear that this time mancini isnt going to allow him back no matter what. Thats what i wrote, its the facts about mancini and the adriano situation, it has nothing to do with being pro-adriano or pro-mancini.

I dont really understand why you are replying to my post..

Then I'm sorry. I misunderstood your point. However, I think Adriano will get his chance if he deserves it. All the players + Moratti are supporting Adriano so if Mancini even had something against Adriano, he will be forced to let Adri play if he deserves to. Have some faith in Mancini, will you?

but Adriano already deserves it, he's been training hard for the past 4 months and has yet to be given a chance to show what he can do. I'm still puzzled to why Mancini would leave him out of the CL squad...it looks like he really doesnt wanna win the CL. Ibra is never good in the CL, Cruz is never good anywhere, Suazo never played in the CL and the only reliable striker we have now is Crespo.

Why Mancini...why

How do you actually know he has been training hard?? He hasn't any training sessions but there's no way we can know for sure if he has been training hard. He didn't exactly look in peak physical condition during the pre season games. I look a lot worse than the rest of the team.

Ibra will show his true self in the cl this year and Cruz has saved us countless times in the cl campaigns.

Why do you always talk like you know the exact player's conditions? Are you present at every single training session?

Adriano Speaks Up On CL Exile

Inter striker Adriano may be faced with the prospect of being left out of his team's Champions League squad, but the troubled Brazilian star seems to be far from worried by the prospect...

Inter striker Adriano told the Gazzetta dello Sport of his reaction to the news that he could be left out of Roberto Mancini's squad for the Champions League.

His response? "OK. That's fine, I'll wait in the background."

The forward, who allegedly refused loan deals away from the San Siro this summer, has drifted to the margins of coach Mancini's plans, but is not unduly worried by the prospect of no European football until the end of the group stages at least.

He told the Gazzetta, "Mancini hasn't yet said to me, 'I'll leave you out for sure.' He explained that it was just a hypothesis that he was considering.

"It was a thought of his. So I answered, 'You do what you have to do. If I'm able to play in the Champions League, I will play. Otherwise, I'll play the other games when possible' ... I'm focusing just on training."

Adriano is considered fifth choice for the striking role at Inter and may be left out of the European squad both to save space and to make him more attractive to potential buyers in January.

I LIKE HIS ATTUTUDE,IF HE REALLY MEANS WHAT HE IS SAYING THAN HE WILL BE FINE AND HE WILL BE GREAT THIS SEASON

No but I have seen his condition in pre season matches. I have also heard the comments of none Inter fans when they saw him play. They were shocked in what condition he was.;)

Well i have one question fore u guys who think it s a huge mistake to leave him out. First do u really think we can t beat Fener/PSV/CSKA without adri ?? coz if so we don t even have to try to win the cl coz we just have to beat hese teams no matter who plays.

Also do u really think that adri is bitter that he can t play against these opponents ?? I mean they ain t nothing special and if he realy trains hard he wil therefre get more serie a time. And if he s fit again in january he ll forsure also get his shot in the cl when we play the big teams. So this whole thing aint that tragic
