I am moving to Germany for few months for work and stuff and I have a question about the Internet options in Germany.

I tried to search online but apparently there are a lot of different Internet providers with wide selections. Also almost all the websites are in German.

Most probably I won't be staying in one place and I will be moving around. Changing apartments and even changing cities.

So what I am looking for is a portable internet wifi device (preferrably rechargeable so I wont need to plug it in) with high speed internet, good download limit, reasonable price and no contract.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.s. Lionheart I'm looking at you!

First & foremost, we don't want you!!! Stay in yo' own country!!! It's already full here, god damn.

That being said, you should be happy because motherfucking Germany has probably the best internet in whole Europe tbh. Remember the time when the boys & I rolled FIFA together on PS3? I was the dude hosting most games because of solid Internet. Watching porn is also another whole new experience tbh. Such a luxury that your video doesn't start to buffer all of a sudden, right where you're about to bust out! :proud:

I'd say these dudes are the best providers from my experience: www.1und1.de/

But you're making it a bit complicated tbh. Not sure you can get highspeed, awesome Internet with good download limit, fairly priced & no contract all in the same package. These companies wanna win customers longterm, you know. So not sure how that mobil internet works. There must be something of that kind, but I personally have never heard of it. But, you know what... worry about it once you're here. I'mma try to ask around in the meantime.

Where you'll be working anyways?

EDIT: Found it. They have: http://mobile.1und1.de/mobiles-internet
But it seems all options come with a contract.

Stuttgart.

But I might need to move to a different city later on.

The thing is since I'm not a German citizen nor have work permit, it is going to be hard to find a proper internet.

The place that I'm going to stay at have a wifi connection for 30 euro/month but I've tried these types of shared wifi before and they really suck. So I prefer to pay a bit extra but have my own internet. Even if the internet is not portable and just like a normal DSL it wont be a problem. I can get internet on my mobile.

So basically, something fast, unlimited and no contract.

Edit: found this website http://dsl-germany.com/en/
Alice seems to have options with 1 month contract which really means no contract. But I don't know if tourist can get it and if it can be easily moved from one apartment to another.

Its really hard to find short term apartments in freakin Germany!!
