I hope Asllani stays with the team this season! This boy has massive potential and Brozo gone he should have much more minutes next season.

I would welcome any of Pereyra, Kamada or Samardzic.

Pereyra is the most likely option as he is free and with lower wages than Kamada. I also think Kamada is looking a team where he is starter? At Inter that will be unlikely.

I think Samardzic will be unrealistic operation as Udine lost Pereyra for free, I don’t think they want to lose two of their mids at same window. Maybe we could include Fabbian to that deal and pay something to 15-20m for him, but we have other holes to fill this window?

Also I don’t see Inzaghi having too many young mids and with Frattesi, Samardzic and Asllani at the same time in the team is lot of work for a coach.

Samardzic would be the dream signing but its pretty unrealistic as we have so many other holes to fill, I personally think this move only happens if sensi goes for a decent money and we lock down our keeper/lukaku situations with relatively low costs, plus the RWB situation, maybe if goesens goes for 20 and you get carlos agusto for 12 that 8M plus sensi for 10M? it could happen

No, as a player that should be starting instead of Mhkitaryan. Our 352 doesn't utilize DM type players
What's wrong with Mikhi starting?

He doesn't have the legs to start every game. I wouldn't mind him being our bench option.

We already have Frattesi for that.

I would mostly alternate Fratessi-Barella and Mhki-Kamada. Actually I feel all of them can play on either side. Would rather have 2 good subs than just one.

I think Pereyra is the best option right now, but I personally don't want him due to only one reason - Inzaghi. He will use mainly Mhiky and Pereyra with Frattesi and Asllani given the bench treatment. If we get Samardzic instead, Inzaghi will have no other choice but to rely on youth.

Asllani reminds me of Taider. All around meh. Unless he has a crazy breakout I do not see him as more than a mid table Serie A player.
I hope not, I liked Taider and to bad he didn't make it

+1

Sometimes I'm thinking Asllani and Vanheusden are the same person. The fact that these two are constantly praised by FIF for no logical reason pushes me to think like this. People in FIF have been talking only about probabilities about these two from the beginning.

Vanheusden would have been a great defender if he hadn't been injured.

Asllani could have shown his true potential if he had taken enough time.

Bla bla bla...

All these if sentences mean nothing in the name of reality.

This is Inter...not Empoli

Vanheusden yeah, he can fuck off has had time.

Asllani, I could be wrong this was his first season no? Why not keep him for another year. I mean he is no worse than gags, vecino, politano or sensi providing fuck all.

Whether we like it or not Asllani is going to get heavy minutes next season. He may even get a run of games at some point if Hakan gets an injury. This is how players grow, the potential is there. Brozo wasn’t the player he is today when we signed him at 21. It took him years to find his footing, which is why it’s so frustrating we’re losing him in his prime when he is returning the investment we made in those early years, but that’s the decision the club made. We are going to have to deal with his growing pains but in 2 years we may have a 23 year old that’s another saleable asset.

That’s Inter these days.
Agreed RE Brozo.

I know this isn't the Asllani thread but I'm not convinced. I think Brozo had a much better football brain on him which was immediately visible to me, even amidst the inconsistency and lack of certainty regarding his position.

My conspiracy theory is that Asllani has just watched other playmakers and is now attempting to copy them - but has no clue what he's actually doing. There are two "giveaways" that I often saw from him.

One is this tendency to cut backwards and bring the ball around him in a circling movement with the outside of his foot. Kovacic does this a lot. Asllani's obviously doing this to scan around him, see where the opposition is and find the best option for a pass. Problem is, he does this when there's fucking nobody around him, or when there's already a clear passing opportunity.

The other is his long passing. He'll spot a winger making a run so he'll nudge the ball a meter out in front of him and go for a highlight reel pinger with his body shape and follow through all picturesque and perfect - except his passes are always fucking overhit.

The solution? Bring back Agoume! :pazzini:

We should have been using him higher up the pitch to give him more minutes. However, for some reason Inzaghi thinks he can only play as a regista. I do think there is a good player in there, but he came to Inter too early. A lot of what you’re talking about can be ironed out but only if a player is getting legitimate playing time.

We should have always gone for Ricci, a better player and more ready, who went to Torino for peanuts and he's now valued at 25m. But now that Asllani is here at least give him a proper chance before throwing him away.
