To be honest, the best thing we can do with the 35 + 5m is to spend it on Ivan Toney. IMO a top 7 Striker in world football, and we'd never be able to sign him in different conditions. Right now he's suspended till January and Brentford would be desperate for money to replae him. Stick it out till Jan that slot the beast in for the second half of the season.

Its because this situation where he can’t play is the only one we can have a chance of buying him. TBH its just a suggestion a crazy one at that. No ones even linking him to anyone. But Ivan toney is world class. Perfect for us too.

Plays in a 3-5-2 with his current team. Great on the ball. Physically strong. Great in the air. Amazing link up play with Mbeumo which he can easily recreate with Lautaro. Just entering his prime years.

Really good shout. Easily the best suggestion I’ve heard here even when you factor the ban. My only concern is the price. Premier League clubs don’t have to sell, especially not their best player.

Just remembered he was diagnosed with gambling addiction recently. He bet on his own club to lose matches. Don't know if that's one of those diagnoses that you admit to get away from more severe punishment, but that's definitely a risk that I think we won't make.

He has some attributes that makes him interesting. But he is one of the worst finishers around. Would be a horrendous signing. Scored 35 in 130 Serie matches. We need goals and Morata surely isn’t the answer. That nein’ said I think we will be signing him. Given the fact the we lost a lot of experience I think we will be looking for a experienced partner for Lautaro with Serie A experience offcourse.

Imo, he isn't part of Arteta plans and it means they will search a new destination for him. His contract ends in 2 years and I think that as long as he goes from one loan to another, he won't renew.

35-40M not including bonuses can be enough to convince them. Its high, but I think we dont have many other realstic options.

Except Lautaro just has 2 consecutive seasons scoring 21 goals in the league. For Lautaro, inconsistency is the problem and not the lack of quality.

Morata scored like 10 goals a season on average, he just lacks the quality.

Except I didn’t say they can’t score. Morata is not really known for his goal scoring prowes. He’s a decent striker with a good track records important matches. Lautaro conversion rate of big chances isn’t the best. With all the chances he got, he should have scored a lot more than 21 goals. Btw, you r was meant as a joke.
