Report: Inter meet with Chong's agent

Inter have reportedly met with Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong’s representatives to present a contract offer to the Dutchman.

Sky Sport Italia writes that Inter officials have met with the player’s agents to bring the player to San Siro when his contract expires in June.

Chong has appeared as a transfer target for Serie A rivals Juventus, who were reportedly in advanced talks with the United starlet.

The 20-year-old has only six months left on his deal at Old Trafford and Inter are allegedly trying to convince him to choose San Siro over Allianz Stadium this summer.

The winger came to Manchester United from Feyenoord in 2016 and has only made two appearances in the Premier League this term.

He has played in the Europa League and the FA Cup and reportedly wants to leave United. But Inter are currently in a battle with the Bianconeri about the player’s signature, as the Old Lady has allegedly offered the player a deal worth €30,000 a week.

They asked for 10m, we have settled for 5.5m. Thats not the problem. Its the 2.5 year deal for a 33 year old that may become an issue in a year's time.
