But Cavani has, max, 1 more year in the top level. I think paying more than 20-25 for him it's totally crazy. It's like a 1-year-rental.
Obviously PSG overrates him and his price. That is why this losers always do shit in CL.

Cavani could be available if Mbappe demands him being the focal point of the team and the ultimate first striker. Cavani being there, he has to play in the wing.

Cavani-Dzeko and SMS, that's doable if we have the funds and why wouldn't we if we can splash 70m€ for Lukaku (and his wages). Give Cavani 3x6m€ (he earns 10m€ atm but has only one year left). That's two old forwards which is not optimal but we have to bite the bullet.

I'd be honestly ready for that.

You don't want to sign 2 30+ strikers on high wages and 3 year contracts who will probably die in 12 months. Thats why I was suggesting SMS, Cavani and Kean instead. Will cost the same in total cost per year, but makes sense for the present and the future.

FcIN - Inter-Cavani: contact. The club has been informed, the Uruguayan does not close the door. Now ball to Marotta and Zhang

Biasin just dismissed that rumor saying we never even contacted his entourage, and that the deal for lukaku is continuing. Btw FcIn is just pure cancer in terms of reliability, its not even worth posting anything from that website, they like to put out bombastic news for the clicks but if you follow them long enough you know they never guess anything right.

I think he has at least 2 years minimum at top level. He has always been super fit and has taken care of himself. He's not your bullshit striker, he's business. Gets the job done. I've been against Cavani many times but at this point I'd definitely take him instead of Lukaku. Obviously if the price is right.

Cavani has plenty in him, Possibly 3 years. Like cafe says cavani has always maintained himself in amazing shape.

He’s way better with the ball than Lukaku and his link up play with Lautaro is gonna be amazing.

Apparently this was wrong year to try replacing Icardi when there seems to be no proper alternatives available.

Inter have been very bad at selling valuable players and also giving too long contracts to old players. Thats why Lukaku, Dzeko and Cavani all seems like bad options.

I don't see how can Cavani and Lukaku look like bad options.

Maybe it's better for Inter to get old players, so we squeeze the last drops of them and don't have to worry about selling. :troll:

There is a good number of options especially for the money we are willing to splash on lukaku, problem is we are radiating desperate vibes between wanting to please conte and all of icardi situation, and other teams can sense that, hence negotiating for every penny it seems.

Finally rumours linking us with Cavani. Super super fit, still scoring bicycle goals, scored 18 Ligue’A goals last season in 21 games.

I’m all into having Cavani + Dzeko + Lautaro + Politani/Esposito as our strikers next season.

Cavani, now that’s a striker. I would splash 30m on him than 15m on Dzeko. And he is one year younger. Would be nice getting him but I know damn well it aint happen. If he ever leaves he will PSG he will go to China or something.

If we think closer this has been our game for long time.. :)

Cruz, Palacio, Eder, Milito, Crespo, Zamorano all these guys joined as 29 or over 30 year old.

I would love to have Cavani on our side. Sad that we couldn't print the money when he was playing with Palermo.

Yea, I was thinking about that but as I said Inter usually gives contract extension to old player when we really shouldn't any more and then end up paying hefty salary for marginal player.

The best transfers Inter have made in recent years have been young talents who are already performing great in their teams. For example Icardi, Brozovic, Skriniar, Barella? I would welcome continuing this but I can understand Conte wanting to get the best results right away.

We are thin in the attacking department, we probably need 2 prolific strikers. Right now we only have Lautaro.

Yeah but we can drop 15-16m€ to Roma for Dzeko anytime and they'll accept that. Dzeko-Lautaro is just fine if we can get our midfield to be best or second best in the league.

And yes, we would still need a third forward in that scenario so I'm not playing down the serious situation of our current forward department.

Cavani is a big yes from me. But likely it's just a negotiating tactic.

Cavani is a absolutely beast and certaintly the 100% real deal and among the very best strikers in the world and in serie A would be able to stay on top long enough. A big yes if true, a Lautaro and Cavani partnership would be mouth-watering!!

If that means we could use money on SMS aswell then we would be set in all departments with world class players, this would go to a 10/10 Mercato if we could get Cavani and SMS instead of flushing down so much money on Lukaku which isnt even near Cavanis lvl.

If only not IF tho ;)

I'd give Milan and Roma more chances of signing Cavani than us. Heck, I even see Lazio as a more likely suitor if they manage to sell Milinkovic-Savic or get him involved in a PSG deal.

If Quags can dominate Serie A at 36/37 than Cavani can easily be scoring tons for 3-4 years

If we are Sampdoria and we are making the decision to replace Quagliarella, then perhaps.

Otherwise there are a bit too much variable to be certain.

Has there ever been a 33+ capocannoniere from a big club?
