From what little I saw of Fares I was moderately impressed tbh. Every time I've seen him play (prob 7 times or so) he's been notable and stands out. He's always involved, putting in decent crosses, making challenges. Seems very combative and physical. Cunt has 24 yellow cards in the last 2 seasons

I'm not saying we should do the trade, but he's not a garbagecan. Not a high benchmark, but I would honestly take Fares over Darmian for example.

Fares, another typical positionless player whose best quality is running and randomly shooting the ball (sometimes it qualifies as a cross).

So our flanks will be: Dalbert + Fares and Candreva + Lazaro. With Asamoah probably being slotted in a middle position so we say good bye to idea top midfielder and Vidal as our only new transfer is the best case scenario for that spot.

If there was a player from SPAL I would have taken it would have been Lazzarri but whatever. I honestly don’t know enough about Fares to form an opinion. Seems an odd rumor though.

Fox Sports is reporting Santos have approached the Nerazzurri with a view to bringing back Barbosa. For that to happen, the Beneamata would want €5m plus defender and former Torino target Lucas Veríssimo in exchange.

It`s the first time I hear this, but on paper he looks like a fine defender that we could use.
