Yeah his work rate and positing has been good, but his end product has been shit tonight though.

Watching this makes me wish we had a player like Vidal. Dude is putting 110% doing everything for Chile.

Chile hitting the post and bar in the 119th minute, holy shit that's some bad luck.. They should have had a clear penalty which VAR didn't pick up on :yao: Pretty unlucky game for them.

Holy fuck Bravo just saved all 3 of Portugals penalties  and Chile win :datass:

Ronaldo didn't even get the chance to take one.

nice penalties, Portugal. :yao:

I also have a grammar question: I have usually read and heard people use the plural with the name of teams, like "Inter win" rather than "Inter wins", I saw this on espn:

More like having the balls to take the winning penalty when there is most pressure.

Fucking people hating on him every way possible. He didn't quit the national team did he? Like some pussy did

Goretzka scores 2 good goals in less than 2 minutes. Mexico down 2-0 7mins in.

4-1 FT, what a game. Mexico did better than the scoreline suggests, but they couldnt take their chances unlike Germany.

Mexico's defense is so weak with this coach. Thank God we didn't play again against Chile.

Yeah their positioning in defence at times was horrible, so many German players left open on their goals.

Think it's American vs. British spelling tendencies? Americans seem more likely to say something like "Inter wins".

It depends on how you perceive the team, whether as an entity or the individuals within the team.

I didn't watch the Germany v Mexico game but saw that Goretzka scored twice. Now, I saw that lad play against Australia last week and immediately thought he's quite a brilliant young player, he impressed me.

Obviously I'm not gonna judge by the one solitary game I saw him play, but can someone tell me why this lad isn't at a 'big' club? Has he been overlooked ? Has he just not shown enough yet and the Confederations cup games are some what of a break out in a sense ?

bayern wanted to get him before getting tolisso, but schalke didnt sell. he is in the last year of his contract, and will almost certainly leave schalke next season. he is definitely someone we should look after, especially because there is a chance of getting him for free.

Dude the 7-0 was the players Fault... you can't blame a coach for players just fking bending over like they did. After the 3rd Chile goal Mexico gave up and Chile defiantly a team that keeps kicking while you are down. At a certain point you just park everyone or start throwing elbows or doing dirty fouls.

Now I read that they want to Fire Osorio because you guys lost to Chile, Germany and fucking Croatia !! Mexicos problem is your media making them think every player on the team is some sort of god. No coach and with non mexican players could have Mexico won the game against Germany.

I'm not talking about the 7-0 but this Confederations Cup. Mexico's defense was very weak and could have lost every game if the other teams had scored their chances just like Germany did. I'm not saying with another coach Mexico would beat Germany, but at least the team would be more competitive.

It's definitely the coach's fault when he plays central defenders as fullbacks, none in your midfield specializes in defense or plays CF like Chicharito in the wing.

Mexico blows a lead in the 90th minute to a Ronaldo-less Portugal, who goes on to win it in extra time with a PK from Silva.

Germany versus Chile coming up in about two hours.
