Dzeko is the top scorer in Serie A though. He also destroyed Koulibaly in the first game this season in Naples.

I'm not a huge fan of Medel, but he hasn't been that bad in the matches he's played.

Keep in mind Gonzalo Rodriguez is the guy that got owned by Icardi earlier in the season... and Icardi hardly ever scores by dribbling through players, as most of his goals are through movement and first-time shot/header. G. Rodriguez was decent, but the guy has regressed.

De Vrij has agreed personal terms with us according to GdS, Inter want to offer 20 million because his contract expires in 2018 but Lazio want 35. From what I've heard he's a good ball playing defender, haven't seen much of him to comment but since we're signing him from Lazio, what do you guys think? I expect the following:

Even though i hate Inter making deals with Lotito(as we always end up screwed up) i would like us getting De Vrij for 25-30m. I would prefer him over Manolas as i am not sure Murillo and Manolas can play well together. My main concern about De Vrij is his injuries.

De Vrij is 25 yrs old, and getting him for 20m will be a steal. However I can't see that happening. Man Utd, Spurs, Liverpool, etc are also after him. Even with his expiring contract situation, Lazio will get close to their 35m in today's market.

I thought De Vrij was one of the best players of the 2014 World Cup, and was really surprised how Lazio managed to sign him up for so cheap (7m). De Vrij is not just a quality physical defender, he is also a good passer. Reminds me of a young Vidic. If I remember correctly, Lazio had a very leaky defence before they got him.

As a player, I would put him around the same level as Manolas. Infact I am a bit more confident about de Vrij adjusting to a new team than Manolas. If we can get De Vrij much cheaper than Manolas, its a great idea subject to a proper medical.

Whoscored stats of Manolas, De Vrij and Miranda are quite the same. I can't really know which is better, the Dutch or the Greek.
