Thanks man! Looks like they got my hopes up for nothing. I love Dutch players so I always work myself up over rumours surrounding them. Depay was too good to be true. I imagine with Van Gaal going to Man Utd the entire Dutch squad will be rumoured to be heading to Man Utd.

You guys are really exaggerating with these players. One good tournament and they're suddenly all world class.

Club football and 6-7 games in the World Cup are very very different things. Ronaldo and Messi looked like shit for most of their tournament, but in club football you know who the kings are.

Sure but those who shine in the World Cup, we know what happens with their value or their eventual transfers to different clubs.

Remember that not everyone watches like almost every top league of the world to follow players and everything. I got some of friends who never heard of James before, but were impressed by him in the WC and all of sudden they think he's going to be the next world's best player.

I don't know but World Cup is like an exam for players around the world. And I mentioned James as an example because there are several ones who shined in WC but were unknown for majority.
