We had "an unparalleled depth in the midfield" in January? Seriously?!

Also, are you actually saying that Tevez and Milito were better than Ronaldo? "Rolando had only 3 great seasons maximum"? I am not sure how old you are, but Ronaldo already had 3 great seasons by the time he joined Inter at the age of 21.

I understand that sometimes you need to twist some facts to support your argument, but dude, what the fuck is that post??

Tevez almost single handedly kept West Ham up in 2007, was a major factor in United winning a League and CL double in 2008, was the catalyst in City's late surge to the title in 2012, and has since gone on to lead Juventus to a Scudetto in his first season in Italy. Milito was a goal machine in Spain and Italy over a number of years. Ronaldo was the purest talent to ever play the game, but his frail mentality saw Capello marginalise him at Real.

The point I'm making is Inter has always loved these bi-polar supreme talents, but Juventus always came out on top with more functional, strong-minded players. If we want to establish another dynasty, then we need to look at what facilitates them.

I dont know if I'd say Capello marginalised him at Real.

He was already 30 by then and his injuries were really taking a toll - wasn't he a fat fuck when he played for Milan? I dont remember now - but even at Milan he only scored 7 in 14 and 2 in 6 before being shipped out again.

Up until the 06/07 season, he'd hit 30, 31, 24, and then 15 in 27.

Only 7 in 14 lol. Like that's nothing. The guy could barely move and he was still scoring.

True. But for a player who was hitting typically 2 in every 3 in the last few seasons, its a step down.

Would be awesome pick up if we pick up Schar of FC Basel but where will he play? Rano finally stopped sucking and Juan Jesus seem like they are starters for the next 5+ years. I don't see Vidic being bench unless we sell him in the winter. Please man U give us a player for him haha. Camp will leave but I don't think this kid will come to not play.

I think we should be looking at a long term solution to the RCB slot. Someone who is comfortable bringing the ball out of the back preferably. We should keep an eye on Mario Fernandes who just got called up to Brazil as a RB but has experience playing as a CB. I remember us being linked to him when he was still at Gremio.

Schar would be dope. The guy is dam good. Building the back for the best 5 years with Juan rano and schar. I would much rather just break the bank for hummels though.

I don't want either of them. Then again there aren't many good defenders out there.

He's like a slightly less clumsier version of Ranocchia

Rolando was the perfect defender for us, he was able to play in the middle of the 3 man defense and also as RCB.
