Obiang is not a great defensive player:

so far this season averages one tackle per game.... while he averages 1.3 key passes and one shot per game.

Where the fuck are you getting your statistics?

From whoscored.com (describing his performance in the 2013/14 Serie A season so far):

• 3 appearances
• Defensive statistics (rounding to the nearest 0.5): 3.5 tackles per game, 1.0 fouls per game
• Offensive statistics (rounding to the nearest 0.5): 1 shot per game, 1.5 key passes per game, 42 average passes per game, 80% pass success rate

Note that these statistics should probably be higher considering the relatively shit quality of his teammates atm (compared to last year)
