Just look at every great club and NT.. tell me who plays with two left footed CBs??
And don't name me those teams that play with two right footed CBs, because that is different given that there are not that many top class left footed CBs.
I'd only change this part. Playing with 2 right footed CBs is just as bad as having 2 left footed. I'd even go as far as saying that having 2 right footed CBs is worse because most of the players on the pitch will be right footed and therefore they'll run at them with the ball on the defenders' weaker sides.
im sorry but it doesnt matter at all. defenders are there to clear the ball, header it away, mark people, and make simple passes. were not asking them to dribble and shoot the ball with pinpoint accuracy from 30 meters away. p.s. for the tackling part, defenders nowadays get turned left and right all the time, theres no time to worry about left foot right foot, you just use ur feet to dispossess opponents. simple as that not much technique involved
Even so, the job is much harder if you have to perform it with your weaker foot.
It's easier for an attacker to kick the ball with his weaker foot than it is for a defender to tackle with it.
