I would much rather have an instant impact, at least for now with our midfield worries, but in the long run if we can affored two attacking mids that are very good then so be it, we should take him.

This is not Cruz and Crespo last season...

I didnt say that it was(i said seasons :boogy: ). Cruz will be here one more season after this one, he said it himself. Then he'll move back to Argentina. Its more difficult to predict when Crespo is retiring, hopefully he can be here for a very long time. But considering the form he's been in this season its hard to see that he'll come back and be the real Crespo again, the injury he got in Copa America might be more serious than anyone ever thought(He got it when scoring a f'ing penalty ).
Mancini is saying that Crespo is out of shape but he never really says why(not that i can remember), maybe its his body that cant take it anymore, he's been plagued by these minor injurys his whole career.

Finally got my hands on the Menez game.
Good dribbler, but lacks vision. He is not a passer that can link our midfield and strikers.

If we were looking for a dribbler, we would be better off signing Quaresma, though I don't think Quaresma will add anything to our squad either.
