La Fiorentina, come scritto qualche giorno fa, non molla la presa su Nicolas Burdisso. L’ultima offerta di Pantaleo Corvino e di 5 milioni più il cartellino del difensore portoghese Da Costa. L’operazione negli ultimi minuti di mercato potrebbe chiudersi.

I wouldn't mind it if he came for free as most of our defenders are getting old, Cordoba 32, Matrix 36, and Samuel 31. However, I have confidence in Burdisso and Rivas, and then we have Chivu who could be world class for us. But like I said, if he comes for free, I won't mind it.

I don't think there's a big problem in the midfield as we have Cambiasso, 28 and Muntari, 24. I'm sure Cambiasso can easily play for another 4 years considering his type of play. Then of course we have Vieira, 33 Dacourt, 34 and Zanetti, 35. So if Vieira or Zanetti shows any sign of slowing down, then we can just buy another midfielder(Hamsik would be perfect in my eyes).

If we have any problems with old players I think it's in the defence with Cordoba, Samuel and Matrix. But then again, we have younger players like Burdisso, Rivas and Chivu. So if Mourinho lacks faith in one of Burdisso or Rivas, then we might aswell aim for a new younger defender soon, and this Silva guy seems to fit the bill.

Cordoba relies much on his pace, I don't see him being as good when he's 34.

Yes we do. A really great cd can't be rated as samuel even he comes back in a avarege good form. Thiago will be one of the bests, assure, i want him at Inter.

What are you saying? Are you saying that Samuel is not a good defender? The guy who formed the best Inter defence last year since... I don't know when. And that this Thiago Silva guy, who you can't have seen much of, maybe in the olympics is better? The same Thiago Silva who failed with both Porto and Dynamo Moscow?

lol. who's that stupid to say that Samuel isn't a good defender. I would call my self really stupid and Anti-Inter. But so so long injury and to be back in a good form is a really difficult story. that's why i want thiago. matrix(i'm not saying he's bad) isn't that good as we need. only Cordoba was really good against Pana. in the other hand Maxwell is having so bad condition and I would like to see Chivu playing in that position before him.

and about Silva I don't think he's an overrated guy. to win a place in the brazilian team is really difficult and its a result of really great matches. i can remember when his coach named him 'a monster' and said that he has the best defensive back player in the brazil.

for that we should trade burdisso or rivas and give that amount and get Cristian Zapata who has italian experience and proven to work here..... not a player who failed in portugal and russia
