Not a feature you can add without deleting the poll entirely and making a new one.

I think the poll needs to be redone anyway.

And leave out players who didn't play the full season. Putnparameters like minimum of 35 games played or something.

People are voting for Berni ffs and we cannot see who is trolling us.

Feel free to delete the poll and re-add it, mods :)

I decided to add everyone to the worst player list, so I figured it was reasonable to add all of them here too.

tbh I just didnt want to put together a short list and get into an argument with people about why so and so deserved to make the list, etc.

I thought the simplest thing to do was include the entire squad.

It’s Lukaku without a doubt. Barella started slow and then had that injury, came back brilliant after that but still had a bit too many inconsistent games. Dr Vrij was 2nd most consistent for sure but has to be Big Rom. If he can up it up a bit more against the bigger clubs this upcoming season we’ll end up winning the league.

Shoutout to Lautaro first half of the season tbh, I thought he was even better than Lukaku. Scored some ridiculous goals for us and in some big games as well. And obviously shoutout to Sensi before he got injured....genuinely a what it could have been. We looked like a completely different team with him on the pitch

It's Handanovic and De Vrij actually. Third spot is up for grabs.

I'm the sole Bastoni vote :alone:

My logic is pretty simple; I think Bastoni was one of the two irreplaceable outfield players within our Starting XI. He possesses on-ball characteristics that few of our CBs possess. He's the only naturally left-footed player for his position; Skiniar, Godin, and D'Ambrosio all received opportunities to fill the role and were terrible. His passes often unlocked defenses and created genuine scoring chances for us. I think you can make a genuine argument that we don't finish 2nd in Serie A or the EL without Bastoni.

Obviously I understand the Lukaku support; if he was injured for any prolonged period of time I have zero idea where our goals would have come from this past year.

I'd probably go:

1. Bastoni
2. Lukaku
3. Barella
4. de Vrij
5. Handanovic
6. Martinez

i think relative to expectations him or young (for the half season) were probably the top for me, but in absolute terms, he did fall away a bit in some fo the bigger games. Not top 5 IMHO in an absolute sense, but definitely very good in terms of a relattive expectations

We've created a shit ton of chances. Someone would have scored a bunch of goals.

Handanovic missed a couple of games and everyone shat their pants.

That's also not how you should measure who is the best. A lack of replacement doesn't make you a better player, just more valuable.

Lukaku was abysmal for a third of the season, cannot really place him in the top 3, he only stepped up in the final month and was missing in the most crucial games (Shakthar and Sevilla) even if his best game came vs Leverkusen which was also a crucial one.

Top 3 => Handanovic, De Vrij, Barella..

I'd put Brozovic further up as well. He had some poor games but overall he's had a very good season.

And if you want to talk about a very valuable player, yet underrated choice, then D'Ambrosio is another pick (for top 5 consideration in that category, not overall). An unpopular choice is Candreva who also had a very good season.

Your Handanovic logic is no different than my Bastoni logic. Handanovic loss' was substantial to us because Padelli had regressed to the point where he was no longer an adequate Serie A reserve keeper, hence why he is being relegated to a third keeper role this year. If we had a quality reserve, such as a Mattia Perin (or take your pick at someone else), then the loss of Handanovic for those two games (or an extended period of time) would not have hit anywhere near as hard as it did because our defense is generally strong.
