Vinicius would fit in, he would also miss 10 chances per game

Mbappe is receiving 20m net and 50m signing bonus. Not that expensive tbh.
+ Alfonso Davies they'll be CL winners for years to come. So poor for football monopoly.
+Hakimi as well. Damn...

I suspect they're gonna run it back at least one more year with Carvajal after the resurgence he's had this year, but with Hakimi being a 2026 expiring contract, it wouldn't surprise me in any way at all if Hakimi is to next year what Davies was this year...a player Madrid target as a summer signing with one year remaining before they're out of contract. There's every chance I could be wrong, but I've always felt that Hakimi returning to Madrid is one of those things that's been bound to happen, the timing just wasn't good enough for him coming out of the academy.

Now, I would've rather them also pursued a reunion as well with Theo, but I guess the market opportunity with Davies was too good to pass up, as well as Davies being three years younger. But they're gonna be banking on Davies becoming the player that Theo already is, and for all the talk about being able to combine with Vini and be pace for days down the left flank...Vini often uses the overlapping runs as space creation for himself rather than sometimes playing the pass.

I think it was more about Zidane not rating Hakimi in a back 4 due to his defensive weaknesses (same as Theo).

Real fucking Madrid is chasing Thiaw for 30 millions.
Wow, just wow. How they sell their mediocre for so much money. Just because they are young?

It appears you're getting that from Sport Bild. A quick scan of both some Milan and Madrid communities is telling me nothing at all, which suggets this is a useless rumor based on nothing.

Madrid have three CBs under contract for next season. They have a reasonably regarded CB from their academy coming back from being on loan at Alavés. They're chasing Leny Yoro from Lille and appear to have the inside track on him (though this is far from a surefire transfer). I haven't heard one word about them being interested in Thiaw until this post. I don't see why they'd have any interest.

I wouldn't give this transfer another moment of thought. I can't see it happening.

Thiaw is a good player at 22, not world class, but good still. Let Milan get a few old players instead to fill up the roster

Barcelona are said to be “very advanced” in their plans to sign Guido Rodriguez from Real Betis this summer on a free transfer.
He’ll be a good upgrade over Romeu who was the most expensive transfer last summer at 3M. Talk of pursuing a starting DM like Kimmich or Zubi but I would rather prioritize Nico for LW

Chiesa is overrated though. He was never THAT good. I mean, he's had a period while he was balling, but he took more credit than what he deserved IMO. Part of that is, because Italian football has been lacking proper talented players whom are competitive at the highest level. But since his long-term injury, you can tell he's not the same player he was before. I'm not writting him off, but at this point, he's somewhat disappointing, and who knows if he could ever return to his old self while he was sharper and confident.

Chiesa's best trait was his first step which was very explosive. Doubt he has that in him anymore.

Yeah, but he's still got explosiveness, although not athe same extent. Some players can't just get out of mental bubble that causes a long-term injury, also if you consider a blame on coaching strategy/style that has been spoken a lot regarding Chiesa and Vlahovic.

So, I think Chiesa maybe needs a challenge in both, himself also environment (in order to redeem himself, maybe?).

A new coach could probably do him good, but I doubt so.

"Plenty good" when listing a declining Benzema

Oof. More reason for why I'm just some random loser writing stuff on the internet.

Tbf, who the hell saw Benzema, who had scored only 16 goals total in the previous two La Liga seasons (31 goals in 95 games all comps) proceeding to score 111 goals in 163 La Liga games (and 162 goals in 283 games all comps) from 2018-'19 thru to the end of his Real Madrid career? The presence of Cristiano alone can't account for why his goal scoring totals were so poor. He found a gear I didn't think he had.
