GdS just wrote that Thuram has a 85M release clause
Yes, he is an established team player now, with great scoring and assist record. Scudetto and promise for next year great season or two. Why would he go anywhere and start from 0?I doubt he wants to go. So no matter if they offer 80 or 1000000000000
Why do people keep saying the same thing? We won't win a scudetto without Lukaku (won it with Lautaro-Thuram pairing). We won't find a better striker for us than Icardi (Lautaro has more goals than Icardi and two Serie A titles). etc...If we sell him I dont see us winning scudetto next season. We should sell Dumfries and thats it, Buchanan and Darmian can play in his position. Zielinsky, Taremi plus one CB and we are good.
If he does not want to go, release clause won't work.Nobody wants him gone, but I can understand why Inter would let him go. There will be new players coming in, either this summer or the next. Dumfries probably ain't staying for long, Mhki, Acerbi and Darmian are slowly getting too old to be playing this much. We also will need a new GK in our ranks soon.
The rebuild is still on, but if we continue in this fashion, this Inter is going to be killer in the next 5 seasons at least.
He's the only good one on that podcast; good for him that he managed to turn it into a career. The IFTV dude that is a Juve fan shows more professionalism and class than the whole Milan organization
If he does not want to go, how can you sell him? He has a 5 year contract.I think its natural to have some doubts about whether Thuram can replicate his amazing performance next season. He really did shine this past year. From clutch penalties to forcing own goals and everything in between, he seemed to do it all.
It's just that when you start analyzing things, it's easy to wonder if it was a one-time thing. I mean... I am not saying he'll suddenly become terrible or anything, just that matching that level of performance might be tough.
Think of it like this: this season, Thuram was like a solid 9 out of 10, given all the circumstances. But maybe in the grand scheme of things, he's more like a 6.5 out of 10 player. So, it might be worth considering a really good sale if the opportunity arises. Something like the Onana situation. The difference being that I really love what Thuram has been doing this season, and I never got that with Onana
For 70 millions or more, i think that we're selling him if he gives green light.
HOWEVER, having said all this, only a fool would walk away from this club and the incredible chemistry here. His performance is largely influenced by the way our team operates. He's not quite at that level of individual quality yet, and maybe he never will be. It's similar to Lukaku, who mistakenly believed it was all about him rather than the system Conte had set up.
So yeah...
I'd argue the inter fan is actually pretty good. The milan fan is there for entertainment purpose, and the Greek guy is just a partner. He's the only good one on that podcast; good for him that he managed to turn it into a career.
inter dude is decently reasonable, althoughly I don't often agree with his takes. But it is just entertainment at the end of the day.I'd argue the inter fan is actually pretty good. The milan fan is there for entertainment purpose, and the Greek guy is just a partner.
Anto the Milan fan is very spot on with his analysis normally, I agree most of his opinions, specially regarding football. Not all, maybe regarding to Inter because of his hatred. He's the only good one on that podcast; good for him that he managed to turn it into a career.
PSG/Chelsea will be in panic mode and definitely will splash a lot of money. I can see Thuram leaving for 85m.I doubt any suitors will offer 80M above on him. His G/A did not convince any rich clubs more than 40M yet.
No questions about it. If he doesn't want to go, i hope we don't pull a Sneijder on himIf he does not want to go, how can you sell him? He has a 5 year contract.
