Guess this guy along with Sanchez are Inter's best offensive subs. He's the only poacher on the team for crying out loud. Maybe a smart buy after all.

at moments Frattesi and Arnautović were the strikers, while Sanchez and Lautaro were midfielders

He is a warrior. We need warriors. I like this.

He needs to work on his overall link up play, but he knows this and doesn't bitch about playing time. Frattesi takes his 15minutes and goes for the throat, leading to quite a few decisive moments for us.

He'll probably never be able to do the Mkhitaryan thing all that well, but that doesn't mean we can't utilize his abilities in the first 11 eventually, he just needs to keep working.

I love Frattesi's character but he's been far from convincing this season, although he's scored goals and was also crucial at some point. But his game is lacking so much, I understand he's different kind of player compared to the rest of our starting midfielders, but he needs to get himself involved more in the build-up play. I even said in the beginning of this season, getting to adjust Frattesi properly in this team, is one of the biggest challenges for Inzaghi. So far, it hasn't looked THAT good.

I even want him to commit mistakes, as long as I can see that he's trying to get better in this aspect. The worst part is, that once we're having both Frattesi and Asllani in the pitch at the same time, our team looks way too unbalanced in the middle. Both lacking tactical discpline.

I don't want him to change one bit.

It's exhausting wanting to get every player to look and kick the ball the same. For once let's capitalize on our assets and stop meddling with their key characteristics just because we want them to do shit they're not great at.

Just like I don't want Bastoni to ever have to play central in the defense trio, I don't want Frattesi to turn into a playmaking type. No need to force our guys to do things they cannot operate at Inter level. Let them do what they do best, which is more than enough.

I swear I'll intervene in every post that starts using "build up play" and "link up" or whatever other nonsense has been said over the last 10 years just because that's how the FIFA kids talk... it's not real football, I don't want a player who cannot perform to be involved in the build up. I didn't want Gagliardini involved, or Icardi, or Sommer, i don't want Frattesi involved either. Let him cook his own dish.

This season Frattesi played like a striker in midfield, and Sanchez played like a midfielder in attack.
If we are behind, its ok like this, but right now, i dont see Frattesi starting instead of Mikhi. Mikhi's all round play is complete, while Frattesi still has a lot to learn, esepcially covering the spaces better. But he will get there, give him time.

Dude, stop jumping into conclusions like a girl on her period, for real, because I never said I want him to change for a player he is to something else. Just want him to get adjusted better in the team, because he doesn't offer that much in the game, and he's not that good when it comes to dictating the tempo of the game. I get that he's technically not as good as others, but at least he can still remain productive in term of ball possession and tactical discipline.

Don't deflect my point into something else just to make yourself look like you know ball. There's people who have been playing and watching football entire their lives, and probably know more than you do, but just because you remember stuff and write poetic posts, does't make you any better than others, when it comes to judging football. We all do have different views, respect that before making awkward claims.

Frattesi needs to do better, because we are known as a team of ball possession, a team that creates a lot of scoring opportunities and plays a nice football. As soon as we get our bench players to play, our game drastically changes. I even mentioned Asllani as well. What is clear, needs to be said, no matter whom we are talking about. Like I said, I appreciate and love his character, and for what he is a warrior, but sadly that isn't enough.

You can't let him cook his own dish while he's nowhere to be seen for a period. There's plenty of players whom are technically limited, but still get themselves involved or take responsibility whenever it matters. Frattesi is 24 years old, he can learn from his teammates, and the coach will probably make him raise his level.

He is still ways from being a starter for Inter. Even after Mkhitaryan leaves, he'll probably still be our Joker off the bench. I like him and I love that he has an eye for goal, but at least his positioning and tackling could be better, also sometimes he seems shy, like he doesn't want the ball. It's not something I want from a midfielder

Exactly this wera, and i observed this also at Asllani, many times like he didnt want the ball, but he upped his game a bit recently, i expect the same from Frattesi.

I'm perfectly fine with him remaining in his current role for next season, 60th-70th minute sub who goes in to terrorize tired defenses.

But also with his finishing the curious side of me can't help but wonder if he could slot in as a straight up striker because he probably has better finishing than all of our strikers.

That is what I was saying, if we only have 2 or 3 strikers ready for the match, I'd like Frattesi to be our second striker off the bench.

During the celebrations on Sunday he said things like "I could break down walls with my head right now" and "I want to do everything I can to make this happen again next year." These are the type of dudes you absolutely want in your side, especially when they score important goals.
