We met City in the finals last year. Was it 5:0?

When we met City we were in a good form, right now we would be completely smashed to pieces by a team like Barca, City and co. We would not stand a single chance… we are not even remotely anywhere the level we played in that final, right now we are rubbish and been rubbish ever since the Genoa game.

You cannot put you beliefs up on something that happened closer to one year ago, it’s the current form that matters and it’s nowhere to be found

Thankfully there is international break it could not possibly have arrived at a better time… because right now we are mentally and physically not where we need to be.

No Augusto sub, no party
Yes. Augusto is more physical than Buchanan of course. so the pecking order on the left side would be Dimarco, Augusto and Buchanan.

It sounds like you broke up with your girlfriend and going around and telling everyone how bad she is.

Continue shitting on the team.

Because we are playing absolutely horrible, if we were actually playing well we would not loose points tonight against an underperforming team like Napoli and we would likely not been eliminated the way we did in CL, but here we are.

We have been really bad the last 4 games, it’s no surprise the consequence is we are out of CL and we are loosing points tonight. It’s exactly what you should expect.

Also we only went to that final because we had the easiest route to the finals in years. We are ridiculously overrated and people put way too much into our performance in Serie a, while magically ignoring the fact we at no time really performed to any similar degree in the CL.

We are nowhere near as good as some think we are, we are certainly not a top 3 or even top 5 team it was just ridiculous thinking so.

You guys need to come back to planet earth

It's wildly rumored Acerbi racially abused Juan Jesus. It's a disgrace if it happened. Juan said Acerbi apologized and what happens on the pitch stays on the pitch but this is an unacceptable behavior for an Inter player.

Last year we were bad In Seria A, with 11 or 12 losses. This is a monster team and one loss to Atletico in a cup game won't change anything. Inter is still a top 5 team.

We played quite well not just in CL but from late April on, the only game we didn’t was against champions Napoli, but we also had to focus on CL more and had close to secured CL by then. Inter was one of the best playing teams in the league at that point. So while overall the serie a season was bad we drastically improved at the end, the CL final was mainly a symptom of that improvement in form, had it not been for that late blooming in form we would not had much chance against them.

Currently we are the opposite, we have a drastic dip in form, so it’s no surprise that currently we are no match to the better teams, the fact we got beaten by Atl Madrid just proves that, had we met a more inform team and not a team in a form similar to ours last season, we would been trashed with current form. You can not build things up on how our form was a month ago and certainly not nearly a year ago, what matters is the form the team is in now, it’s pretty bad.

We weren't playing absolutely horrible against Napoli, come on. We could have scored few more, they get a bit of a lucky goal from a corner and as that happens so late, we can't get a proper time to look for the winner. Maybe there was a bit of lapse in the second half but it wasn't like Napoli was dominating.

Don't try to twist everything to your narrative. We can play well and lose points, that's football. Napoli came to play and they were pretty good in the second half.

We played Bologna away on Saturday (hard fucking match) and then Atletico away for 120 mins (even harder fucking match), then Napoli, so it's not gonna be champagne football after those first two games. Yet we still pushing for some good attacks but the usual one fine detail was missing. Not a big deal.

We get a break now and come back against Empoli, home match also. That will start our final push for securing the title, that's it. No room for negativity.

The goal off the corner was the direct result of us self destructing in our own half.

Our week has been Bologna - Atletico away - Napoli. Makes sense the batteries are dying.
International break is needed . The rest of this season is going to be boring except for the party

We scored 3 goals in as many games, none of the chances we had in this was particularly large other then the one we scored on, they where mainly half chances, not clear and cut open big chances, unlike the misses that Thuram had in the previous game. We have not exactly been swarming in open chances you can expect to score on the last 3-4 games, the big chances we created we have also mostly scored on except the sitters of Thuram in CL. The other are chances you sometimes score on but often you actually don’t. All games we had tremendous issues in the last 1/3, loosing balls and possession to easily, balls not being controlled properly, poor decision making and several really poor passes especially noticeable in the last 3 games and, getting passive around the hour mark, start making an incredible amount of personal errors compared to what we had dealt with before the Genoa game.

How we played in November till February was noticeable better, with far more chances and bigger chances created even in open play. Compared to the level we previously output this is pretty underwhelming and been so for 4th game in row.

This didn’t start there it started already in the Genoa game. So blaming it only on tough schedule is a bit silly, when we didn’t exactly play well two games leading up to it. I also from that already pointed towards overuse of starters as one of the main reasons behind that dip in form.

Also I have not at one point said we would drop it on the floor, although It would be quite Inter to do so, I very much doubt it’s happening.

Also as other already pointed out we conceded largely because we went into self destructing mode with idiotic personal error, until then Napoli hardly managed to get much out of it as they where not exactly playing well… we more or less handed over that point on a silver plate.
