Our goal was well planned teamwork. Their goal was a fluke.

Come on we got this!
Inzaghi should tell these exact words to the players tbh. This is how you unlock their minds.

remember, despite all their motivation and all, we can't get eliminated with a draw.

so far, we're in the next round

Yeah, they were much more intense and even better in the first half, we have to wake up. They aren't that better in terms of creating chances or being dangerous, our players just look overwhelmed, midfield in particular.
This is Atleti at home. They are a very tough opponent but Inter should be able to add another goal or two. If they don't this is gonna get terrifying down to the wire.

Another cup of coffee. Let's score 1 more in the second half. And no stupid defensive mistakes.

Tactically it's an amazing battle.

Also on a technical level, both teams manage to squeeze everything out so we're typically seeing the worse possible from either team which is why y'all are complaining for jack shit reason all the time.

The only thing I'm not sure on, but I get the logic behind, is how trigger happy Dumfries is with his off the ball forward runs. Leaves Pavard and Barella exposed, which adds extra worries on them. The aim is to take Lino out of the situations or tire him up, but there's a potential cost of being overrun on that right flank.

Neither team can play how they want, and as long as they don't score more than us I'm okay with that going forward.

Our issue is that we don't have much fighting spirit on the bench while they do. And we don't have any one with a spark other than Frattesi or untested Buchanan.

Ref is being too lenient at times but cannot complain that much. It's a normal 52-48 CL affair. We just need to step that intensity with purpose and composure.

Barella what was that man? Aside from the assist he’s been sloppy.
