You are right! But....
You won`t be disappointed if we don`t get over Atletico? Winning scudetto is a big success, plus the second star, no question about that.
But after what we saw the whole season, won`t you feel disappointed without going deeper in CL? The team is strong enough to do damage at the higher level.
My man here gets it.

Much like if Inter get knocked out by Athletico, you'll never know what your true potential was if you weren't blinded by irrational hate.

I feel this Scudetto is special. Very special.

But not because it will be the Scudetto we get the second star. I don't give a fuck about that. I only want us to build a dynasty and try to win a few more Scudettos with this squad.

This should be the start of a real era for us tbh. There's some rejuvenation needed in the next couple of seasons, GK, RWB, CB, CM but it's actually not particularly extensive which is encouraging. Most of the core players could be here for a while, it's only Sommer imho who is a real definition for this club that needs replacing short term, arguably Acerbi too

It`s true. But still I want to go back to the old badge and put the second star on top. The old badge with the second star would be one of the most beautiful things.

Correct. And don Beppe stays here. The old fox will make the changes smoothly, with or without money. Hopefully the next years will be better than the last ones.

Come on man, we can have different opinions. @.h. interested in financial side more than others and no matter how foolish it feels, you can't go after the person like that.
wait till he encounters Brehme's stubborn old ass, guy will have a proper meltdown

my days what a fucking master class today from Limone. Fucking guy managed to get us a routine win with arguably the hardest away game that's left on our calendar. GOOD FUCKING JOB.

As for atletico, its one game, shit can happen but lets hope we pull thru

I also feel the insincere of @.h. when you stated this is the best inter you have seen and you really support Inzaghi etc.

Almost like you are typing that to give you a free pass to type how big a failure for disappointment if we fail to achieve something that includes a huge random component, that you can blame and pin something on Inzaghi that isn't really his fault at all.

I also find it weird that, yes, we need rationale and logic to strategies and make it financially work, but this business is built on passion, not to mention how inter is like a family( I know it is sounds cheesy but I don't know how else to put it) that players who left still feels attach to us e.g. Hakimi.

Welp, you're entitled to your opinion. And yeah, Inzaghi could make some fucking disaster subs Vs Athletico for example that I would blame him for. But I don't really see any sign of that yet, and I think this inter team could achieve anything it wanted to. I didn't think that was the case last year. I didn't think Inzaghi was one of the best coaches in the world last season, but as I've said several times, he has upped his game several levels and this season he probably is one of the absolute best coaches in the world right now.

Like I said, this Inter has the potential to achieve anything. My disappointments in Inzaghi last season were poorer defensive setup, inability to develop players, etc. most of those concerns haven't just been addressed, but utterly smashed out of the park in a way I never expected him to.

But hey, I guess ironically, the haters will hate no matter what. Adults changing their mind because of the facts of the situation shifting significantly is a rare and apparently unbelievable phenomena.

We all understand that qualifying in the last stage of CL has a huge random component. A mistake or just a dose of bad luck and you are out. Even if you are the better team and hypothetically you would have won 4 of 5 games against the same team.
But still the disappointment remain. It`s in human nature.

If someone would have asked me in summer if I would be happy with scudetto and R16? Yes, of course, 100%.
But now after I see how we play, I want more. Not only because I want Inter to win any game we play, but because we know we have the quality to be in the upper echelon. And if we are out against Atletico, I will be disappointed, because I believe we are the better team. It`s just a simple fact.

Jesus Christ all this over one opinion
Chilll.

Even if we go out against Atletico, it will still be one our best seasons ever as long as we don’t magically forget how to play football.

But yes, I would be disappointed if we go out of the CL this Wednesday. How often do you practically have the league wrapped up by the 2nd tie of the round of 16? We basically have the fortune of completely prioritizing this competition while most, if not all, of our competitors will be fighting in their domestic leagues until May.

This season has the possibility to go from amazing to incredible and I think we have a fair chance to do it.

I see the situation a bit different. Maybe Inzaghi need more time to teach the team to play his style. Every coach is different in this regard. I don`t see another Inzaghi, but one who had enough time to mould the squad on his ideas.

By Conte you see the improvements very early. His problem is the ceiling. After the initial improvement he doesn`t seem to be able to take the team to another level.
Klopp for example said from the beginning that he needs at least 2 years until the team plays confidently his style. Guardiola needed also more than a year until City became accustomed with his style.

Yeah fair enough. I personally didn't expect this level out of Inzaghi but that's just personal views. Am impressed by what he's done, managing to do it in the bigger games so consistently this season was completely unexpected for me.
