This is arguably the best, and no one would disagree 2nd best inter in the last twenty something years. I think our full potential in this team and manager is as one of the absolute top clubs in Europe. It would be disappointing not to see us match that potential.

And to be clear yes I put a LOT of that down to Inzaghi.

Disappointing because thanks to Inzaghi he's made one of the best teams in Europe, and it's one that should be competitive to the top in Europe too.

His point is clear and in my soul I agree with his argument, bar the fact hat the season is a failure only with scudetto (which is obviously ridiculous).

But we all feel that this team can and should do more that the R16. After nearly 3 seasons with Inzaghi we are where we all hope to be. It`s an well oiled machine, homogeneous, mentally strong. Without exagerating we are one of the best team in Europe. I don`t think is one team in CL which would be happy to play against us. Even Real or City or whatever big club. I don`t believe is anyone who would say: we are are 2 classes against these maggots, bring them here, we are gonna fuck them! I don`t say we are better then them (we are not), but we could be really a pain in the ass for everyone.

tbh thats the thing. This is quite possibly the best Inter in terms of play style, etc, I've ever seen. Where last year we had some good moments but we WERE a significant fail against big sides, this year we're crushing it in a way that even the dominant Inters under Mancini (for example), or Mourinho's treble season, didnt. I honestly, honestly, would defend (despite being a so called 'Limone hater') this as being the best Inter in the time I've supported the club

edit: and to be clear, a LOT (the majority) of the credit for that goes to the coach

Comparing this era to Moratti era when we could bring players like prime Ibra. Its like if we today could bring Haaland. Failing in those times in CL cant be compared with today. Its a nonsense. Just look other teams how much they spend and how many quality they can afford to bring. We are doing phenomenal stuff with old and rejects like Acerbi, Mhiki, Sommer, Darmian. Thank that to Limone and our management. But first to Limone. Compare our and Atletico roster and how much we and their worth were in the start of a season? This is just rubbish talking to downgrade the great stuff we are doing this season. Cause if we lose to this Atletico its a failure. No, its not. Failure was getting out from a group stage, that was a failure. Winning scudetto is a big succes. This is not 2007 when rube was in Seria B, you cant compare that and this.

You won`t be disappointed if we don`t get over Atletico? Winning scudetto is a big success, plus the second star, no question about that.
But after what we saw the whole season, won`t you feel disappointed without going deeper in CL? The team is strong enough to do damage at the higher level.
