All the coaches know, all of them have game plan to work against us. It’s down to
- quality of players at the moment of game, from both sides.
- can execute in whole match, with on going changing.

So many matches we’re not the dominant side, there’s a pattern than we get 2 or 3 dangerous plays from opponent then it flips, we get opening goal then kill the match.

This also shows how well drilled we are this season, the mentality is different, players believe in system.
Exactly. Football is down to the very details and these details include many things like the players quality, players mistakes, ref decisions, luck, pitch condition, weather condition etc.

For all the praise Genoa received for the last night performance, the match could have a higher score if both teams converted their chances. A team could come full prepared for a match and still come out empty handed if the match incidents don't go in their favor.

Anybody afraid we may lose Inzaghi end of season? He's a big name right now and a lot of clubs will have eyes on him.

I think he'll stay as long as Marotta is here.

I believe his words and he does seem genuine and I think everyone knows I'm a massive fan of his. I've just seen this rodeo so many times and it worries me.

How are you so positive about everything else but not this lol.

Inzaghi seems like a fairly loyal guy given how much of his life he spent with Lazio. As long as we keep him happy I don’t see him wanting to jump ship.

Only thing that worries me is we seem very bad at handling pressing. And this is against mid teams like RS and Genoa.

Idk if it's an individual quality issue, or a team thing, but I feel like if we see a top team actually try to press us hard, we will get wrecked.

I’m not so sure. I think we will struggle for maybe a half but we are patient in our bunker. Eventually anyone pressing that hard will lose some steam and drop off. Then when the game opens more we can hurt them. The problem would become if we give up an early goal like we did at Sociedad.

If we have to chase a game that’s where I’d be more worried. We’ve shown we are more vulnerable to the counter then high press imo.

We've had a few near misses against the high press this season. Atalanta last week was a relentless press that basically worked (they blew an easy goal scoring opportunity). Roma used a high press in rainy conditions and were able to have a halftime lead, but immediately collapsed at the start of the second half. Sociedad obviously had a lot of success using it against us.

However, the games we've actually dropped points tended to be more open matches. Sassuolo and Bologna (league match) specifically.

The high press thing you guys are talking about is merely survivorship bias. We suffered against effective high press team, the same as effective low block teams, the same as any other effective teams. The key word here is effective, not high press. We can deal with high press, some days better than the others depending on form, fitness and all sorts of factors.

We can all agree Milan and, to a lesser extent, De Rossi's Roma are effective high press teams in Serie A. And look how we dealt with both of them. We didn't reach Milan's box until the 7th minute, then one turnover and it's game over. The rain made our final balls sloppy vs Roma in the first half, but the high press wore Roma out way faster than us, once we got used to the rain the game was decided. There are other games vs high press teams that were so uneventful that we simply forget e.g. Lazio.

The truth is we don't have a particular weakness vs high press. It's just that on some days, our opponent survived better which make it seems like we are vulnerable against certain playstyles. Some other days, some team some style and it would be a massacre.

It's not that I'm not positive over the situation it just worries me, I'll always have faith in our abilities on the pitch but staff players etc move on. To clarify I don't think he will, however I didn't think Skriniar would've left amongst others and I've learnt to just ride it out and wait for official announcements.
