He was almost sent on loan and he declined, so he really needs to prove he deserves to be here. Inzaghi seems to like the little dude, but I do wonder if Inter will again try to send him on a loan this summer.

I can see that happening
But who will back Hakan?

My biggest gripe about Asllani is I just don’t think he’s a top tier athlete. At least not for the regista role. Technically he’s fine and is decision making will only improve. That’s the stuff you can train, but he’s never going to be a stellar athlete.

I prefer someone a bit stronger and faster. Neither Hakan or Brozovic of were necessarily known for that being their specialty either. But they were serviceable.

I worry about us defensively against the top teams when Asllani is in the line up. Especially if he gets a yellow.

No one says that we are stuck with him forever. If he cannot do the job property, he will be sold and considering how he is developing, we will get good money.

I wrote this in the game thread.

Asllani is not positioning himself the right way in attack, I expect him to not finish this game either.

When Dimarco runs forward and Mkhitaryan is far left on the wing, Asllani should help make a triangle, but he is holding back too much, not giving Mkhitaryan a proper lane for a pass.

I like the dude, but he needs to assert himself more. Especially because we know he has shown goods in attack before.

His position is not good today, not putting himself in good place for the pass or slow to move out to drag Atalanta players out of position. Garsperini playing De Katelaere and Miranchuk also doesn’t help because both of them put pressure on him.

Not a stellar performance, but in the final analysis did ok. Played vary deep as well so his offensive contributions were limited. That may have been a result both Inzaghi's and Gasperini strategies.

The usual problem, but not disastrous. Happy that he gets a chance to play with the usual starters for once! That will help him grow. At the end of the day he was part of the team that helped secure a 4-0 win against Atalanta. Excited to see him against Genoa next. Back-to-back start will be good for his development.

Poor man's Kovačić. Basically Kovačić without speed, dribling and technique. They are similiar in positioning which is bad. Only thing what he has and Kovačić doesnt are balls. That could lead to something so I am not gonna write him off.

Based on one game where he got tackled everytime he got the ball? Can't make this statement based on one game.

That's like someone saying after the Atletico game "Calha and Mkhi are trash what are they doing in our club?"

Overall this season he has been way above average. 7.5/10 or even 8/10.

He is very serious and very dependable.

Based on every game this season. Like I said there is still hope for him. He did good in second half.

Unfortunately looks like an amateur amongst professionals. He has some great natural traits to build around but I'm not sure if we should be that school.

Loan to a midtable side would be a good idea as long as they're going to start him.

If it were someone else you would be bashing him for waving his arms
all the time; getting in the way of teammates or their passing lanes and for shooting whenever he has the ball outside the box.

He tries tio much because he feels he's a level below and wants to prove himself. That's a childish behavior and it won't hekp him nor Inter.

From all that, let's keep it to the fact that he's below in level to the rest of the team Nd it shows

I don't recall of being so harsh to young player.
Anyway, I don't know what wrong he did actually, except that his off ball movement and positioning are not so good?
I'm agree that he is level below, but if he was same level, he would have been a starter, and Hakan would have been sold to Saudis in the summer.
Asllani shows that he is reliable back up to Hakan, and considering that the latter has at least 2 seasons on a top level, we can afford to keep Asllani and let him grow during that time.
He is used to the system, coach's demands, teammates. Why the hell, we shall send him on loan and to look after another back up player, who could be a flop?

Sorry but he didnt show he is reliable back up for Hakan, especially yesterday. During the first half time he looked like headless chicken, lost in time and space. He must be better than that.
