Dumfries and Darmian would both have to be injured. And even then, I reckon Inzaghi would use Pavard at RWB for the full 90.

I don't see Inzaghi rotating this much, especially the midfield. I feel that at most he would make one rotation in midfield - I don't see him ever making two unless it was an early Coppa game or the Benfica one. The only other time we had this rotation was when both Barella and Calhanoglu were suspended.

I feel there are a few rotation options Inzaghi trusts more than others. I think he trusts enough in guys like De Vrij, Augusto, and Dumfries (who's really a starter, and only backup due to recent physical issues). He has grown to trust Bisseck as well, and somewhat trusts Frattesi - not necessarily to start him in many games but trusts him to change the game off he bench.

I think midfield and attack is where Inzaghi has the least trust in the backups. Arnautovic and Sanchez have started 3 Serie A games between them, and 2 of those 3 were due to Lautaro injury. So he's only really rotated the attack once all season in the league.

In terms of midfield, he's only rotated twice, starting Frattesi against Empoli and Klaassen against Salernitana. The only other starts were Asllani/Frattesi against Fiorentina, both of which were through suspension.

Interesting to see how he approaches this match, given in the first half of the season, it was in CL that we rotated for the Serie A games.

Common sense says to sit out Pavard, Darmian, Dimarco, one of our forwards and one of our midfield trio for this one.

Probably not big rotation, but a few rotation and seize early lead and early substitutions, but at the same time, at this time of the season even the rotation players should be familiar with the game plans.

But we can still put Bisseck, Augusto, Frattesi and Arnautivic in the starting line up, and have a strong team. It's not necessary to field same team as vs Roma.

But you know Inzaghi won't do that.

I think he would. At least in this case. If not anything else, at least give Thuram and Pavard a breather, I wanna see Bisseck again.

but there were games like that this season too and I think we won a few of them after we made the changes

like the one where Asllani gave that beauty of a long pass to Dimarco so Thuram could score against Roma

I trust this squad to at least get a win against Salernitana

Sommer-Dumfries, Bisseck, DeVrij, Bastoni, Augusto-Barella, Asslani, Miki-Alexis, Thuram. Start this and then put Lautaro in second half who will score couple of goals. Rest Hakan before Atletico its a must. We need best Hakan against dirty cunts like DePaul and Griezmann.

This is the real test.

But really, we need to win in order to keep the momentum. I will not settle with a bad result here. This is a must win!

On Saturday Verona-Juve. By no means easy game, proven by the Empoli and Udinese results. They are fighting for survival and at home they are not easy to defeat imo. Also Allegri will be under a huge shitstorm if they don't come back with 3pts.

Monza have got their defense in order lately, another away game for Milan so you'll never know.

Bisseck literary haven't made a mistake and already played 4 full games in Serie A where we managed to get 10 points, which is pretty good. Even scored a goal against Lecce. Give this man more minutes, for fucks sake!

Very well said. However, I think Monza is going to be a cakewalk for Milan. They might take points off Milan, but not until match importance is almost none.

We shouldn't neglect our match. Rotation is necessary but don't dismantle entire concept of our game. I'd probably play Alexis form start to give some rest for one of Lautaro/Thuram though. Frattesi isn't completely fit yet (according to recent reports).
