I don't know why, and this is not based in absolutely anything other than my opinion, but I have a feeling this guy would leave Inter in a milisecond should an opportunity come to move to Real, City, etc. I just have a feeling he would want to somehow prove himself to be the best in whatever.

He's not on the bench because he clearly said he wants to either play or leave. Watch him bag 25+ goals next season, then get sold to PSG or Real Madrid for 100m+. Not saying he will be a world-beater in a year, but repeating the same season in a stronger side will likely be easily achievable.

Just when the mercato team gets us all happy with Pavard on the brink of signing, we are then taken for another spin with resigning Sanchez, a guy that was paid to leave 12 months ago. Sanchez is not horrible, but it just shows the shortsightedness and lack of creativity of the management.
