We might have a pact with them whereby we get a steep discount in our next future transaction. I am very sure we did not just give the player up for free, Marotta and Co are super canny and business savvy.
Totally agreed. It sets a really bad precedence and other clubs will ruthlessly try to exploit it. I have a somewhat more positive take on this: can we not just keep ninja and use him as a squad player? There is no ill will between management and him and he himself has said he will have no probs...
I really really doubt we paid 16 mil to get him back. I am sure we worked out some sort of understanding with Standard about the payment and even spread it out.
Incidentally, why wasn't he present during first day of pre season?
It's not that we can't find one, it's more of a case of not finding one that adequately compensates us. In the past we have been criminally underpaid in terms of sponsorship. This time that should not happen.

People are talking about the players being 'sad' but i didn't see it that way, in fact the team looked very focused to meand serious but in a good way.

So papers reporting that Verona will buy Dimarco for sure, around 7 mil. Has anyone found out for sure whether we have a buy back clause on him or not?

Im also confused by this 'he is not in the coach's' plan explanation. This guy started over skriniar in more than 10 matches in a row including the EL finals. How is that not being in the coach's plan again??

I am absolutely stunned by this apparent deal. Especially from Godin's side. Why on earth would you work so intensely hard all season to become a starter, play in the first finals that Inter participate for almost a decade, and then decide to leave for a team that was struggling to not to get...
From so far what I have seen, Biraghi is not Inter material. He is a solid rotation player, and maybe a starter for a mid table team. But no way is he good enough to be pushing for a starting position for us.
I don't think his transfer has anything to do with Dalbert's. The latter has...
