so who won our last meeting?
we wa a joke at the time. well more off a joke anyway

---------- Post added at 17:51 ---------- Previous post was at 17:40 ----------

Honestly though England has as much chance of getting through the groups as Scotland do. Appointing Roy Hodgson is just gonna make the scapegoat funnier.
no way this time it will be diffrent they is no hype on our player's and no one expects us to go far. thats whats been holding us back for so long because player for player we are up there with the brazils and the spain's even better really. i meen look at germany who in that team would get in england i wunt pick one. so yeh is our time we deserve it more than anyone. :troll:

Czech Republic 1–0 Scotland

That is the result that killed you...

Well, you could argue that each result that points were dropped killed us.

I say the 3rd last game at home vs Czech at home which ended 2-2

this is how the table ended:

2 Czech Republic - 13 pts
3 Scotland - 11 pts

So basically if we had won the game, and not drawn which I mentioned, it would be:

2 Scotland - 13 pts
3 Czech Republic - 12 pts

Back to my argument, 3rd September 2011, 89th minute, Scotland lead 2-1 to the Czech republic, which would mean Scotland would qualify as I showed^^^^^

89th minute, this happens...

If he had not dived/penalty had rightfully not been given Scotland would have qualified for the play-offs. Czech played Montenegro - definitely a win-able fixture, proving the point that Scotland should be at the euros

Meanwhile, Ireland who are apparently 'better' than Scotland because they qualified had a piss easy group and a piss easy play-off

their opponents:

-Russia: finished first. Would beat Scotland overall too, but they are certainly Nothing compared to Spain, world and european champions, who Scotland had to face twice.

-Slovakia: Hamsik + a couple of pacey wingers + others. Scotland are Overall better

-Macedonia: You know you are shit when your main threat is Pandev - easy win

-Armenia and Andorra: Bitch please....

Play-off opponent:

-Estonia: really? how in the name of fuck did they get above Serbia, NIreland, and Slovenia? God only knows. Regardless, easy win.

So as Ive quite clearly illustrated with this post, Scotland not only should have qualified, but are also better than Ireland

:)

Not quite sure how Scotland are better than Ireland considering Ireland are better in:
-Head to Head.
-Carling Nations Trophies :troll:
-Being in the Euro's.
-More preferable option for players who could play for either.
-We've qualified for a tournament in this fucking millenium
-Republic of Ireland.
-No rapists in their squad.
-Robbie Keane :megusta:

We'll see you in Brazil hopefully ;)

-Head to Head.

hmmmmmmmmm

played 71 games.

Scotland wins - 51
Ireland wins - 10
Draws - 10

-Carling Nations Trophies :troll:

Your goal was BS on various different levels, and we dominated midfield.

-Being in the Euro's.

Ive just factually proved the invalidity of that argument

-More preferable option for players who could play for either.

Amount of People in Scotland with Irish heritage: High
Amount of People in Ireland with Scottish heritage: Low

-We've qualified for a tournament in this fucking millenium

Well, again I proved we Should have, and times before that too...

-Republic of Ireland.

What does that have to do with football?

-No rapists in their squad.

Your just jealous tbh

-Robbie Keane :megusta:

Wow!!!!!!!! I wish Scotland had a guy who plays for a pub team somewhere in America!!!!!

We'll see you in Brazil hopefully ;)

Next nations cup. That is, unless N Ireland fuck it up or some shit..

I was wondering about a few things and I'm sure vitadmins knows the answer...

In preparation for the tournament, our NT will play a few friendlies... And because of some shit between KNVB and Bayern about Robben and an injury he had after WC 2010, they are going to do a friendly between each other and share the money they make...

So 22 May there will be Bayern - Netherlands. They expect Robben to play for both teams in this game, probably one half in each team.

So I was firstly wondering if it ever happened before that a club playes against a NT, and secondly, if it has ever happened before that a player plays against his own country, or against his own club, where he is currently still signed and playing. Does anyone know? :)

This is a short simplified breakdown of the competition from my school newspaper. It's watered down for length purposes.. not as in-depth as some of you would like it.

http://spartandaily.com/75816/euro-2012-preview

The enigma that is Sweden rolls into tournament without a definite purpose and star forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will come away empty again.

Any source for this? According to wiki Ireland have the upper hand ;)

Your goal was BS on various different levels, and we dominated midfield

Regardless of how much of a Barca fan you sound like (Dominated midfield counts for shit all), when you let Paul McShane run through you like that, you should just fucking quit playing football.

Well, again I proved we Should have, and times before that too...

Shoulda, woulda, coulda didn't.

What does that have to do with football?

Nothing, just amuses me.

Wow!!!!!!!! I wish Scotland had a guy who plays for a pub team somewhere in America!!!!!

That 'guy' scored more goals in his 4 or 5 games during his spell at Aston Villa than all of the squad you called up scored in the Premiership this year

As Ireland: http://www.11v11.com/teams/scotland/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Ireland
As Republic of Ireland:http://www.11v11.com/teams/scotland/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Republic of Ireland

well, it doesnt.

? I dont recall

Thats incorrect.

Gary Caldwell - 3 goals
Jamie Mackie - 6 goals
Id be willing to bet that James Morrison has scored a fair few more than 3, and possibly even Graham Dorrans too

Russia - 11
Armenia - 47
Slovakia - 34
Macedonia - 98
Andorra - 205

Average Ranking: 79

Spain - 1
Czech Republic - 26
Lithuania - 89
Liechtenstein - 128

Average Ranking: 61

Not really that much of a difference. Slovakia and Czech Republic are pretty similar actually. Plus, you only had to beat out 3 teams to get a top 2 finish...Ireland had to beat out 4.

-Surely you arent basing your opinion on the fifa rankings which are complete BS

-Czech and Slovakia are silimar. We should have beaten them at home as i said, and we only lost the away tie because our manager is a mong. Heres a test for you, what formation did Scotland play vs the Czech in the away game? Which is another point i havent mentioned, that Scotland are severely handicapped by our manager

-yes, but at the same time, Scotland before qualifying began were guarenteed to drop 6 points vs Spain, whereas Ireland had a shot to beat Russia. (dont know if they did or not)

To be honest IReland didnt deserve to be only one reason, they play so boring, even Armenia with 10 man played better at Aviva stadium then they did + the unfair red card as well

At that time Armenia was ranked around ranked 90+ or something and not 45+
