Well, you could argue that each result that points were dropped killed us.
I say the 3rd last game at home vs Czech at home which ended 2-2
this is how the table ended:
2 Czech Republic - 13 pts
3 Scotland - 11 pts
So basically if we had won the game, and not drawn which I mentioned, it would be:
2 Scotland - 13 pts
3 Czech Republic - 12 pts
Back to my argument, 3rd September 2011, 89th minute, Scotland lead 2-1 to the Czech republic, which would mean Scotland would qualify as I showed^^^^^
89th minute, this happens...
If he had not dived/penalty had rightfully not been given Scotland would have qualified for the play-offs. Czech played Montenegro - definitely a win-able fixture, proving the point that Scotland
should be at the euros
Meanwhile, Ireland who are apparently
'better' than Scotland because they qualified had a piss easy group and a piss easy play-off
their opponents:
-Russia: finished first. Would beat Scotland overall too, but they are certainly Nothing compared to Spain, world and european champions, who Scotland had to face twice.
-Slovakia: Hamsik + a couple of pacey wingers + others. Scotland are Overall better
-Macedonia: You know you are shit when your main threat is Pandev - easy win
-Armenia and Andorra: Bitch please....
Play-off opponent:
-Estonia: really? how in the name of fuck did they get above Serbia, NIreland, and Slovenia? God only knows. Regardless, easy win.
So as Ive quite clearly illustrated with this post,
Scotland not only
should have qualified, but are also
better than Ireland
