Greetings from Split, Croatia. I am Inter and Serie A fan from 1995. What worries me is that there are no more young italian class players, like in those days :depress: I am aware that scouting has become more powerful and that clubs, including Inter, have more and more young foreign players in their squads. But what happened to Italians ??? Remember Totti, Nesta, Cannavaro, Montella, Cassano, Pirlo, Buffon... they were all world class players despite their young age. Ok I heard about Destro, but he went on loan to Genoa, and who knows what will become of him (remember Aquafresca), Biraghi, that Fossati went to Milan and so on... First I think all of them are overrated and second I see more young foreigners given chance in seniors while italians are send on loans or sold for few euros. Especially in Inter. OK some will say, that was talented generation back then. I agree, but it's clubs fault that today there are no talented italian youngsters. First they don't give them enough chances, and second they give up them to easily. And it was strong italian base with class foreingers that made Serie A great back then. God how I miss those great days.... forza Serie A, forza Inter !
