10 years of FIFI like the "Forza Inter" theme, except for the fact its not wide screen. "The Sweet smell of victory" isn't as good but at least it fills the whole screen and I don't have 2 cm of black each side of the page. I would have thought widescreen was more the norm for peoples computers, or am I way off the mark? Isn't everything widescreen these days.

This was explained in the first post... we can only have one theme and it has to be this blue. We reached it after a lot of experimentation and everything else is personal taste. Trust me you'll get used to it.
If it's REALLY bothering anyone, there are ways to customize the style of any page on the Internet by editing a style file in your browser. But that's a bit of an extreme measure.

Forum SupporterAbout 20% of our visitors are on widerscreen. I could increase it a bit but the main reason isn't people's resolutions.
In usability studies, the wider you make a column of text, the more difficult it becomes for people to read the next line. For example if this paragraph extended all the way to the end of the page on a really wide screen, you'd be more likely to get confused on each line until you figure out where you are. Sort of like books were designed to be portrait not landscape. Since our main objective as a forum is reading and we want to encourage longer more intelligent posts, this width is optimal for that.

Damn, Ehsan. I love the old white theme. It is so much better for the eye.
A lot of the stuff are not that visible in this theme... for example if you click on "My Profile", a lot of the words are not visible anymore.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFI know you guys are still working on the theme. But here are a couple of suggestions:
1: I think the squad numbers should be gold/yellow as well as some of the edit icons (they look too generic coloured white)
2: The background colour of the GIF titles are a different blue from the theme colour. (I suggest my boy Besnik gets on this right away :thumbsup
3: I know I made my case about this a while back, with Han giving me a pondered answer. But with Suneet getting to 10,000 posts, I've just been reminded why I STILL THINK THE TITLE OF "SUPER NERAZZURRI TEAM" SUUUUUUUUUUUCKSSSS!!!! I'll look for an alternative and PM you mods.

About this, I think't is not that important to change the background of userstrips now. Considering that there are like two months left until the new season of FI Oscars, we will keep those strips until we organise the new FI Oscars for 2010. So for next Oscars we'll think something better and the background will be the same as the color of the postbit.
