Did barca become a small club when they sold ronaldo and maradonna??

Youngsters with the potential and right attitude and mentality need to be kept. I would totally against selling santon but mario I would sell in a second for the right price.

Youngsters will still come, some players are just trouble and need to be sold sooner then later. We don't want to sit with another adriano situation were we stuck with him even though it was clear we needed to sell him much earlier.

Hmmm,

Maradona, bigest transfer fee at that time
Ronaldo, bigest transfer fee of that time
C.Ronaldo, bigest transfer fee of his time

And in this world where Kolarov and Bale are 20 mil euros, where Di Maria is 25 milions we can't sell our brightest talent for 30 milions, we just can't. If we can get 30 milions for him now, even he hand't played one single season like regular starter imagine how much we can get for him after 2-3 seasons on highest level.

Rooney to Man Utd for 33 milion euros with 18 years from Everton, we aren't Everton my friend.

No, hes going to end up being one of the best players to have ever played in the PL?

And then go to New York? SELL SELL SELL! :D

The Rooney comparison is a very good one.

Imagine if he continues with his antics. You won't get close to €35/40 million that you will get this summer. It really comes down to whether you believe he will mature quickly. I don't so I will sell him.

The poll says a lot, but it seems that Moratti/Branca have made the decision. It will be a sad moment when he will score tonnes of goals every season.

No young players?? Who are santon, biabany, coutinho, crisiteg, obiora, ect.

In football manager maybe in the real market you will struggle to get €20 million combined. Sell these unwanted players is very hard because of the wages they are on.

I don't agree that we will be weakended losing mario since I believe he will be replaced in a manner. Losing maicon would be a much bigger blow. That's why for me I will let mario go and keep maicon.

i still dont see the need to sell either maicon or balo, we will likey strenghtin the squad by getting mascerano and and average forward after the sale who wont bring anything new to our squad, i rather keep things the way they r and get rid of those useless players, after a year of probably record breaking revenue, quaresmas 6m, 20m+ of sales, wages bill will be cut down, i honestly see this as adequet movement towards financial fair play, unles moratti lets us in to whats going on with our finances and why we REALLY need to sell, i wont be conveniced

As for the "what if" case.... I don't really mind if he will step his game up & score his goals in the PL, particularly as we don't even know if that'll happen. If he can improve his attitude then fine, it would be a good issue for him in his maturity process. But that would have nothing with Inter to do no more, he goes his own way in his new life. And Inter have to move on too without him, but with Coutinho, Biabiany etc. and we might get another young man with the profit of his sale.
Sometimes talent is just not everything.

It will be a happy moment, when he will become what Cassano became at Madrid. A waste, that no club good enough wanted.

Okay, I voted for the third option 'No, we believe in him'.

I think we can still count on him. I'm saying this because in the our latest matches he started to improve himself in the professionalism term and in his attitude, and this made me to change my mind about him.

I just can't see him with ManCity or ManUtd or whoever signs him, to shine and became the best player in the world.

Luka, I'm utterly shocked by you how you voted in this poll ;)

I voted "only at the right price" but too me that's significantly more than the 30mil being offered for him. At that price, I'd rather keep him for at least another season.

The right price will differ from person to person. €35 - €40 million would be my price.

Laws of economy my friend, always risk involved.

What we can get for keeping him, lets say three years?

- tones of goals and assists
- guy for commercials (he scores spectacular goals and he's very attractive player)
- marketing, he sells newspapers (haircuts ala Rodman)
- when he becomes best Italian player and standard in NT his price will be huge considering his age (at least double from now - 60 mil)

What we can lose if he stays three years?

- nothing; Cassano after all his fails still, with 28, worth 15-20 milions. So, even if he becomes new Cassano, he will always be valuable because he's talented.

I know it that soon after Fachetti we will start stupid politic again: Pirlo, Seedorf, R.Carlos... we're forgetting pretty fast.

Obviously there is always risk. We just disagree on what is the more likely result. For me the chance of mario ever making it is 1% so I will take that chance and get my cash now. Those who wants him to stay obviously feel the chances are higher.

As for the rest :

1.I can get another player without his attitude problems to give me goals and assists.
2. I can use santon and coutinho. They will be great in ads.
3.If he becomes the best, I don't think he will ever reach that level.

What we lose:
1.The money we can get today
2. We sit with a bad influence in the dressing room, never good. The management has to deal with mario issue instead of important matters. Raiola comes for a huge wages increase each year.
3. Next year he only has one year left on his contract, it was very to get him to renew the first time when his brother was his agent what do you think will happen now??

Fachetti and oriali were around for all three of those deals. Of the current management only ghelfi and moratti were around at that time. I trust branca 100%, he knows what he is doing.

Thats dumb logic. Who cares if he ends up getting worse and we can only get 20 million? Inter's rich and plus it's not your money, this is a calculated risk and one worth taking.

When Man Utd sold CR9 they already used him to rape the league and the CL, so again on that arguement your wrong. Crisetig, Krhin etc will end up being decent players but Balotelli used to RAPE in the Primavera.

Whoever wants to sell Balotelli doesn't care about Inter playing good football and winning, they care more about players who will 'have heart' and celebrate and smile to the fans...so gay..
