Hahaha I am so happy right now! I'm surprised Busquets didn't break into the maintenance room and turn on the sprinklers!

Looool @ spain!

The swiss deserved it.. The best second half at the WC so far. It reminded me on Inter - Barca last 15 minutes :D

This confirms that the whole Spanish/Barcelona style of play is useless against a team with a solid defense.

Well, to be precise, you were close ;)

Spanish/Barcelona style is not useless, because even the best deffense can loose against Barca/Spain style on a worse day.

The point is that Barcelona/Spain style is not the ultimate style, as football = offense + deffense, so the team that is great deffensively can have as good chances to win as team that is great offensively.

...

5 fuckin extra minutes ? For what ?!!!

ps. HAHAHA -> Spain.

Fantastic result by Swiss..Barca boys got their ass whooped here and there..Its gonna be really interesting now..They cant cope with the pressure afterall..Favorites? If Chile can surprise them again then they might be out of the competition ..Yeah..Favorites for the first big casualty Id say..

Spain is just eternal underachiever, EC 2008 was the expection that proves the rule. Nothing weird in this result.

Allez baby, allez!

My family are Suisse and the Suisse, in general, are fairly modest people...They're partying pretty enthusiastically back home

Haha I wonder if you would have mentioned your family background if Spain won 4-0...

I expected 4-0 but was going to be happy either way, tbh...A draw would've suited me perfectly...I was getting texts throughout from back home and everyone is savoring this victory in typical Suisse fashion - wine & food

When the draw came out, I wasn't looking forward to the match...I'd like to see both advance and even with this result, I see it still a good possibility.

Somethings just never change. Spain underperforming at the wc is just one of those things.

Like Luka said, u need a balance. Mourinho can adapt English direct footbal, Italian football and also possesion football, he has the 3 cards, if u only have 1 u are fucked.

Busquets it's so shit, and Senna watching the game at home hahahahah pathetic.

Btw, will D. Suazo play any game? Honduras will probably get a big defeat in the 2 remaining games.

btw, feeling of everyone in spain is that busquets needs to get out of the lineup, quit him and put instead one more offensive player, anyone from cesc, torres or a winger like navas with x.alonso being the only DM.

Imo, xabi alonso is so good that it's a waste play him as only DM. i would play without silva, without busquets, and with a more solid dm, and also navas and llorente.

Subbing Busquets off for Torres so Xabi could drop back into the DM role was the right sub but Busquets wasn't playing poorly or slowing down Spain's attack today...I'd blame Del Bosque but mainly for not adjusting to the narrow & compact defense Hitzfeld employed....Spain had zero width and for stretches it appeared that only Ramos was playing on the right side

I think Cesc should've come on for Xavi as he was simply sitting too far back and not being direct enough...Fabregas would've gone on goal...Plus, I would say that Silva had a poor first half which explained why he got the hook, ultimately.

Ultimately, Spain remained a little unlucky...They created a few bonafide chances but inexplicably made things harder (Pique missing, Villa on one & Torres with a heavy first touch)

Dream start, for me...Suisse have a legit chance to advance now and Spain will have to play with the favorites tag less secure...I hope they both advance

I couldn't watch it live but I downloaded it and I saw it was worth the wait.

A very good tactical win of Hitzfield. Firstly, I got really happy for Suisse winning, and secondly I got even happier that it was Spain who lost it. Those spanish men are just some diving cunts that I can't stand.

Now, let's hope Chile does a suprise there, and Spain gets outa here!

And btw, this was the best match so far in the tournament.
