You won't see many corner kicks that are more elaborately set up as that one...Almost worked to perfection

Well, that was close...Messi, conservatively, could've bagged about 5 or 6 tonight

Yeah i know that, i just wanted to know why someone said we would be in the same bracket as Barca so we couldn't meet them at quarters, which seemed not so credible to me.

So, now we know all the teams. Personally, I would like to avoid ManUtd and Barca. Especially catalans.

Didn't read it all but this may clear things up.
The UEFA Champions League comprises of three qualifying rounds, a play-off round, a group stage and four knockout rounds.

Qualifying
In matches in the three qualifying rounds and the play-off stage, clubs play two matches against each other on a home and away basis, with the club scoring the greater aggregate of goals qualifying for the next round. In the event of both teams scoring the same number of goals, the team which scores more goals away qualifies.

Group stage
The ten winners in the play-off round ties – five from the best-placed path and five from the champions path – join 22 automatic entrants in the 32-team group stage. The clubs are split into eight groups of four teams, who play home and away against each of their pool opponents between September and December to decide which two teams from each pool advance to the first knockout round. The third-place finishers in each pool enter the UEFA Cup Round of 32.

Knockout phase
From the last 16 until the semi-finals, clubs play two matches against each other on a home and away basis with the same rules as the qualifying and play-off rounds applied. In the last 16, group winners play runners-up other than teams from their own pool or nation, while from the quarter-finals on the draw is free.

Final
The final is decided by a single match, which this season will be played in Madrid on Saturday 22 May.

I have a feeling that the luck will be on our side this time, and we'll get someone easy, CSKA or Lyon or Bordeaux.

The gut also tells me Barcelona will draw either Man Utd or Arsenal, with preferably the second side.

Yeah and headlines will be Revenge for 06 FINAL  + Henry is back to Arsenal

Lucio-Bayern story

MU should avoid Moskow, because they were in same group, so MU will facing a French (probably Blanc-side, for another returning , and the other (Lyon) is going to Russia :D

For one, I think it would be a massive mistake to overlook Bordeaux or CSKA...Those two sides, in particular, have to be considered dark horses but their qualification is no accident

Arsenal, Barcelona, ManYoo, Inter, Bordeaux, Lyonnais, CSKA & Bayern

The draw is on Friday in Suisse and it is an open draw which means, in theory, anyone can face anyone...If I had to 'guess' based on how UEFA typically 'draws' these sides at this stage in the competition, I would guess this:

Barcelona vs Bordeaux

Arsenal vs Lyonnais

ManYoo vs CSKA

Inter vs Bayern

I'd like to have Barcelona-Man Utd now, or latest in semi-final. I don't want the same final two years in a row, it's fucking boring.

Inter-Bayern would be perfect, with all this Italy-Germany talk of the country ranking points and so on. It would be also tough enough for Inter not to take the opponent too lightly.

You can't underestimate anyone at this stage but if you are one of the big clubs you rather take cska, lyon or bordeaux than any of the others.

Personally I would prefer one of the french clubs or bayern.

a lot of people can see who inter will face a mile ahead, i'd like nothing more than to face CSKA or lyon, but it will most likely be inter-arsenal or more probably inter-bayern
