Samuel is crucial back there i think..then pair him with either Cordoba or Materazzi
Cordoba has speed, Matrix the experience..maybe even Chivu if he's not in midfield or fullback

well, im a big fan of matrix so i want him to play

seriously, he always does his best in the derby + samuel was not very solid before this injury. chivu could play but i think matrix is a better option because of his great headingm which we need because beckham.

eventough burdisso had some great displays lately, i dont trust him and i dont want to see him play today. the last two times i went to watch the match he got sent off(liverpool and milan):wallbang:

I was checking some of the odds on betting sites. Inter are favorites on all of them and a 1 nil win is the predicted result.

There are 2 different approaches to that game.
1. Milan has pretty weak defense. That makes playing Adriano logical.
2. Milan has very crowded midfield, so fielding Ibra as lone striker with 5 behind him has some justification too.

Cordoba in my opinion has 0% of chances of playing in this game. If Jose won't play Samuel or Chivu, because they're just after injury, than Burdisso and Materazzi will play.

I think that, because whatever Ivan did, he was benched because of it. And it will take someone else fucking up, to change that. At least that's how I think Jose is thinking. And since Matrix and Burdisso(suprise suprise) played good lately, I don't think Ivan has a chance to redeem himself, just yet.

What I want though, is not to see Burdisso, and see at least one of the two Walter/Cristian in his place.

Chivu is so overrated in here... For me he's done nothing for this club... I don't even remember the last good performance he put in for us. He was the one that just stood there and let Kaka cross the ball in which led to Dinho's header last derby... I would never consider him starting this game... He's shit. Sell him.

I kind of have to agree. Chivu has done nothing for us. In his defence though I can't remember the last time he started as CB.

I think that Cordoba is a must for this one...

we need his pace and experience,plus I think he's the ideal man to mark Pato..
In our 2 previous games against Milan,our defense was not convincing at all,we used Rivas,Burdisso,Materazzi and all of them failed...Cordoba hasn't played a derby against Milan since december 2007 and now needs to come back..
He might not have played well in our last matches but in comparison to Burdisso and Materazzi,I have far more trust in our colombian defender..

There's Gazzetta's prediction for the lineup,however I think the more reliable formations are the ones posted 2-3 hours before the game..

Cristian didn't do exceptional things. Agreed. Well, he is sorta of a "glass boy" so it didn't help.

But I think most of the time he did at least well. I think the best moment of his, was last year at the beginning of the season, when we were winning all those games, untill christmas.

His problems are injuries, we all know that.

It would be horrendous to see Burdisso starting this match. Cordoba must definitely start. Then it's either Matrix or Samuel, Chivu doesn't have match-fitness at all like Samuel, so the Argentinean goes aheah in that battle.
