I hope we can qualify. The game against France is the final of this group, I mean both games but I still think we can go through. Hope Decki will play for Serbia so I can see him in Romania.

Group 6 Croatia, England

Again?

Greece should hang themselves if the dont qualify from this group.
Italy's group is really easy. Dont think they would have much problems with this group.
and I really wanted england to get Germany, France, Italy or Netherland. Really upset that didnt happen.

What is the format again for these qualifiers?? The top 9 teams from each group go through, and the 6 second best team from the groups go through, or something like that.

'Croatia inferior to England', 'Not one Croatian player is good enough for England' etc. etc... :wallbang:

Oh, how I enjoy those arrogant comments..Didn't they learn anything?

Italy should get through
Greece is already through
England will face trouble unless they hire a magician as a manager or unless they produce some immense talent!
Portugal/Sweden/Denmark group will be the best I think.
Czechs and Germans should win their groups.
Same for Spanish, Dutch.
France should win their group but 2nd place will be tough for Serbia and Romania.

And besides, there are 2 years of games and they start off next year. Nobody knows if some new kids can step up and turn the football world around ;)

I think the best 2nd placed team qualifies automatically and the rest play playoffs. Not sure though. Depends on how many Europeans qualify to the final stage...

The top 9 teams go through, and then the top 8 2nd place teams play home/away for the remaining 4 positions.

Quick question. As champions of the world, we are still not automatically qualified?

They changed the rule a few years ago.

First, the USA didn't win it :D
Second, it changed after WC 2002. Thus Brazil had to play in quals for 2006. Only host nation goes through automatically and that's how it should be. Like the Euro, if you are good enough to defend your title, do it just like everyone else ;)
