Im just going through the Juve books on their website

they make 3x our commercial revenue (!) - obviously some of that is linked sponsorship
Their wages for 21-22 was 310mil, ours 217mil
Amortisation 21-22 was 173mil, ours 125mil

they ended with 240mil loss for the year.

Whats 'kind of' interesting is that... we have higher issues because of one offs, such as writedown of player values, fake sponsorship, and also Zhang influence in the financing costs. Juve are just much more expensive... their wage+amortisation was 483mil between those two, in contrast to ours at 342mil.... Shocking difference. Comparatively few write downs or other one offs in there - but also no massive plusvalenza iirc

And our salaries should go down big time this season. Also amortizations I think. I mean in 23/24 season (which results we will get in 1 year + 3 months)

I haven't put ketchup on anything in at least a decade and that's not going to change any time soon. Ditto mustard. Condiments in general are gross and also bad for your health.

Inters payroll cutting is less then what I hoped we would achieve after this summer, clocking in around €11m cut in gross spending. We are still way over what is financially sound and still a little under €30m higher payroll spending then Milan and Roma and almost 45m more then Napoli and Lazio. In other words the cut roughly corresponds to Brozovic gross wage.

We already know we need to cut the next two years as well as the consequences of FFP changed regulations… As it’s probably highly unlikely Inter will be able to increase gross income, more likely it will drop due to the season we had past term.

Yeah. It's a really poor impact compared to what we were hoping for or expecting this year.

It's the thing with Inter, over the last decade there have been lots of opportunities for us to do the right thing in terms of making sensible financial decisions, but irrespective of the ownership you almost always find we make the bad decision.

Hopefully amortisation has decreased a reasonable amount, & with a number of short term contracts expiring (MKhi, Sanchez?, etc) this season hopefully it can fall further.

Really impressive what Juve done they cut it with more then €40m gross.

Also Bastoni wage is absolute bonkers for a defender.

That Hakan earn so much is simply put too much, he needs to go next summer. It really should be possible to find a less wage heavy regista.

I have no beef with Hakan/Bastoni wages

Thuram needs ot justify his wage this season

But its Mkhi, De Vrij, Darmian, Cuadrado, Sanchez, Sensi where we can make some savings - that's 24m gross just there. Of course they'll have some important squad contributions and will need replacing (De Vrij mostly, Mkhi has a ready made replacement, Darmian is probably backup this season, Cuadrado, Sanchez and Sensi are backup)

Lol.... good luck finding better players for free and for lower wages.

Who the hell said they should be better, in case you didn’t know FFP require us to cut 10% of our expenses (payroll, transfer and agent fees) every summer, this doesn’t leave room for having so many players that receive over 10m gross with our very limited gross income, our high payroll is one of the issues with why we are so limited on the market.

We need to find a younger less wage heavy regista…

Mkhi, De Vrij, Darmian, Cuadrado, Sanchez, Sensi wage certainly isn’t helping but we still have 7 players earning substantially more then even the highest earner at Milan. This is not very sustainable and I must admit sacrificing Hakan of our highest earners is first I personally would make, Brozovic went this summer, we are fundamental forces into it once more next summer.

Our financial situation is bad and improving that will always hurt, there just no free lunch.

Donnarumma, Kessie, Hakan... players leave on a free because of Milan's wage policy. Did they replace them well - they did, yes. Did they lose on like 100M in transfer fees for those three, though? Good players are getting paid. Good players on free transfers are getting paid even more. The only guy that I can legitimately argue makes more than what he deserves is SDV.

And well, SDV has been totally worth the money in these 3 games so far.
