I still think we need another defender, especially given we have 3 players in that area (De Vrij, Acerbi, Darmian) which we may need to replace within the next 2 years. If we're not spending the money on a striker, I'd use it on a defender.

I assume we're still onto Tiago Djalo if he recovers well from his ACL injury for a free transfer next season.

Tomiyasu has nothing to do with Cuadrado though - it's not like Cuadrado being in the squad would prevent us getting Tomiyasu. We obviously have limited funds and needed players in many positions. We decided to get Cuadrado on a free for the wingback position. Tomiyasu is not a wingback.

I would respect them much more if they told us the truth in a straight forward way, than try to sell this insulting narrative.

Why I said we need to rid ourselves of Inzaghi, we need a coach who actually trust and will develop our young players, while Inzaghi do use them if he has too, it’s just not enough for a team with the challenges Inter is facing.

He should apply for the national team, I can’t see one being a much better candidate then Inzaghi… who I would dream too see as the coach of Italy!

So we are really going through this season with Darmian and Bisseck as our only options for right centre back?
I expect some magic from Simone and I have a feeling that we could see Dumfries in our back three soon.

Carlos Augusto being our main purchase in defence, I don't understand what is wrong with that, IM21? He will cover for two players and is actually quality in BOTH.

Seeing how we are leaking money, getting him is actually a big deal for us. I was afraid SA would go for him or some EPL club.
Now next summer we need to get a CB and RCB, but after that we'll be okay for some time in defence.

We won’t find out if Bisseck has what it takes if we won’t allow him any playingtime.

It was always a risk going with him, now we need to see how that risk turns out.

Carlos Agustos is a LWB/LCB. We need a RCB. That's what is wrong with this whole BS about CA being our main purchase in defence.
