I don't understand why would you wish Kane doesn't win something? Dude has been a real trooper for Spurs all these years, but it's clear being close to one EPL title and one CL is the best this club will ever do.

He is basically for Spurs what Iverson was for 76s. A great player that would win a title in some other club.

I love it that Kane goes to Germany cause of the football "pundits" (Man U/Liverpool cheerleaders/ex players) trying to whore him on a Bosman to their favourite clubs and looking down on foreign football.

I simultaneously agree a player doesn't need trophies to be considered great or to be happy with his achievements, and find those two clowns extremely annoying.

They want replace Lewandowski, only Kane their best option. They really need Kane to win Champions League title.

Bayern are desperate. That's basically the story of this transfer. They have obviously massively overpaid but they badly need to replace Lewandowski. They tried to do it with false forwards last season and it failed pretty badly. They need a striker. And they need him now. Muller is injured. Choupo Moting is injured. They have only young Tel fit and we're just one week before the start of Bundesliga. And they have so many gaps to fill. Sommer replacement. New #6 Tuchel has asked from first moment. Sorting out Pavard situation and finding his replacement after Walker rejection. They can't afford dragging this on any longer and play games with Levy. They need to get this done asap.

Also there isn't a great market for forwards. Kane for 120m (bonuses included) is still safer than 100m for Kolo Mouani, 70-80m for an underperforming Vlahovic or 80 for Jonathan David.
