Gotta say that Taremi was pretty great also in CL last season - not only in Portuguese league. Just all around impressive player. I liked his passing, him winning duels and holding up the ball. Of all the names mentioned, he is the most obviously fitting partner to Lautaro and would probably walk into our starting line-up. My guess is that Inzaghi would really like him (even for other reasons than his age).

Last time I heard figures like 30, that was ridiculous. Now it’s around 20.

At around 15m I would take him. Why the hell not? Maybe his body can take few more years of beating because he decided to chill in Iran until he turned 28.

We can always pay 20m for the clause of Budimir. He is old, serie A expierence, croatian, tall and only scored 8 goals last season.

When they say we prefer younger they mean that we prefer cheaper.

Sometimes these need to be translated.

I am asking without insinuating or assuming anything. Out of pure interest.

People who hate the idea of Taremi. Is this hate based on seeing him play for the last two years or something else like age or price or whatever? I am genuinely curious, because if you have watched him consistently and found him to be poor, we have a genuine and big disagreement here.

There are certainly reasons to not want him, but let’s not claim he is a bad player.

On the contrary, Taremi is expensive for his age.

I would bet he is the top choice of Inzaghi right now, just above Morata.

footballer from portuguese clubs is usually expensive and it's August. Their price would be more ridiculous day after day..

Don’t know if you noticed, but Immobile’s level dropped like a stone last year.

Which is not unheard of for 33 year old.

Indeed, 8 goals from open play last season in serie a and equally worrying, he is getting more and more minor injuries in the last 3 seasons. Considering his age, thats not very promissing.

He would surely also want a high salary as he has 3 years yet on his Lazio contract.

Yet some people here thinks getting him would "be buying the scudetto" and it would be a great idea to drop 30m on him.
